To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities. To rescue dogs and puppies from abusive and neglectful situations, including puppy mills and "backyard breeders". To help educate the public on proper animal care and promote spaying and neutering of all pets. To provide foster homes for all animals in our care. ❤️ MEET CIABATTA — THE PERFECT MIX OF PLAYFUL & CUDDLY ❤️

Looking for a dog who can keep up with your adventures *and* be your favorite couch companion? Meet Ciabatta 🐾

This sweet 10-year-old Rat Terrier mix is proof that age is just a number. Ciabatta still has plenty of pep in his step and loves running, walks, backyard zoomies, and spending time with his people. But once he’s gotten his exercise in? He transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug. 🥹

Ciabatta’s favorite place in the world is right in your lap. He loves leaning in for pets, curling up next to you on the couch, and soaking up all the love he can get.

He’s also wonderful with children — patient, gentle, affectionate, and happiest when surrounded by family. ❤️

Earlier in life, Ciabatta had an accident involving a wire fence that left a small scar on his nose, but it only adds to his unique charm and story. Through it all, he has remained one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet.

Meet Penny 🐾

This beautiful 1-year-old sweetheart weighs 33 pounds and has the gentlest soul. After being surrendered to a crowded city shelter when her owner became overwhelmed with too many pets, Penny waited patiently for someone to give her a second chance. Thankfully, her foster family stepped in — and now she’s finally experiencing the comfort, safety, and love she deserves. ❤️

Penny is calm, polite, and incredibly easy to love. She gets along well with other dogs, has wonderful manners in the home, and absolutely adores having a cozy place to relax. She is fully crate trained and finds comfort in having her own safe space.

She’s still growing in confidence and learning things like walking on a leash, so she would do best with a patient family willing to provide consistency, encouragement, and routine while she continues to blossom.

And honestly? Penny’s little personality quirks make her impossible not to adore. 🥹

Meet Mindy.

This precious 5-month-old Shepherd/American Staffordshire Terrier mix puppy was found stray — dirty, hungry, skinny, and completely shut down emotionally. Her foster mom spotted her lying quietly in the shelter, looking defeated and scared, and knew she deserved a second chance. 🥺

And thank goodness she got one.

Since entering foster care through Legacy Humane Society, Mindy has completely transformed. What was once a frightened puppy unsure of the world is now a playful, affectionate, goofy girl discovering what it means to finally feel safe and loved. ❤️

Meet Marsha — an adorable Aussie/English Bulldog mix puppy with a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and a personality that will completely steal yours. 🥹

Born on 12/17/2025, Marsha is currently around 18–19 pounds and is expected to grow into a beautiful 50–60 pound companion. She came from an accidental litter, and Legacy Humane Society stepped in to ensure she and her siblings would have the chance at safe, loving forever homes.

And Marsha? She is PURE sweetness. 💕

This little girl absolutely LOVES people and wants nothing more than to be included in whatever her humans are doing. Whether it’s cuddle time on the couch, following you around the house, or soaking up every bit of attention she can get, Marsha is happiest when she’s near her people.

Like all puppies, she’s still learning and growing, so she’ll need:

Marsha also has a condition called cherry eye, which is very common and treatable.
