On cold, forgotten streets they roam,
No steady hand, no place called home.
Eyes that ask, “Will love find me?”
Hearts unsure, yet longing to be free.

Then Hope arrives — with gentle grace,
A trap, a leash, a warm embrace.
Not just a rescue, not just a plan,
But angels walking in human hands.

Through muddy fields and midnight calls,
Through broken gates and shelter walls,
Through fear, through hunger, trembling small —
Love shows up and conquers all.

Valentine’s isn’t roses or lace,
It’s kneeling softly in a frightened space.
It’s whispered words, “You’re safe tonight,”
It’s staying through the hardest fight.

It’s fosters who open hearts and doors,
It’s donors giving more and more.
It’s every mile, each sleepless night,
Turning wrongs into brand-new right.

Because love isn’t something we say —
It’s the dog who wags for the first time today.

We are running low!
Our rescue is needing supplies to continue to make moments like this possible.

We are in need of supplies but most of all the following from our wishlist...

1. ❤️ The MAGIC Chicken Meatballs

2. 🐾 Zip ties for the nets on the traps and everything else we use them for in the field.

3. ❤️🐾 Wooflinen slip leads- these tend to walk away with the dog that has been captured for their safety and we are always needing to replenish.
