🎉 SCOTT’S BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP 11/1! 🎂🐶

In a few weeks, we are celebrating our Vice President and Second-in-Command Scott! 🥳✨

For those who don't know, Scott does all the “heavy lifting” at Pooch Savers. Every single week, Scott is the one: 🚗 Driving dogs to and from vet appointments 🧼 Handling intakes, grooming, bathing, vaccinating, heartworm testing, and microchipping 🎪 Setting up for our adoption events at PetSmart every single Friday—all by himself 🐾 Running our adoption events front and center every Saturday and Sunday AND MORE!

Scott is as humble as they come.

He never asks for praise or kudos—he simply wants to save and help as many dogs as possible. ❤️

Scott doesn't want traditional gifts, cards, or cake.

All he wants for his birthday is support for our rescue!

🐾 BEHIND THE SCENES AT POOCH SAVERS RESCUE 🐾

We know it can feel like we’re always asking for donations, and honestly—we dislike doing it just as much as you dislike seeing it!

We usually try to save our fundraising posts for major emergencies, critical illnesses, or urgent surgeries.

But the truth is, the day-to-day routine vet care adds up fast, too.
Here’s a quick glimpse into a "typical" week for us: Just last week we had 9 dogs at the vet for spays, neuters, and other minor procedures.

While these are standard, routine appointments that every rescue dog needs before finding a home, at about $150 per dog, that added up to nearly $1,500 in just two days.

We continue to rescue dogs from owners and the streets who aren't altered, and we need your donations to keep doing so to help stop this cycle.

These essential daily bills have to be paid so we can keep saving lives.

If you have a few dollars to spare, please consider chipping in to help us cover our routine medical expenses. Every single dollar makes a difference!

🚨😂 **PACO HAS HIRED A VERY BAD PUBLIC RELATIONS TEAM… AND IT’S HIMSELF!** 😂🚨

Paco has a lot to say. He barks. He growls. He makes a big production out of pretty much everything, including meeting new people.

Basically, he's a 10-pound security guard protecting a property he doesn't own. 😂

His resume says:

❤️ Secretly hoping someone will love him

The problem? Everyone hears the barking and growling and walks away before they get to know him. 😢
