Subject: Wanted: A couch to snooze on and a human to love.
"Hi! My name is kovu I’m a 3-year-old, 50lb terrier mix with a beautiful brindle coat and an even more beautiful soul. I’ve been staying with my friends in the rescue for over a year, and while they are nice, my one Christmas wish is a real family.
I'm a pretty relaxed guy. I like my walks and meeting other dog friends, but what I really love is finding a sunny spot to nap or curling up with my person. I’m easy to live with and have so much love to give.
Could you be the one I've been waiting for? Or could you be my safe place to stay (as a foster) while my forever home finds me? If you foster me, the rescue pays for everything I need!
Please check out my friends at luckycatrescues.org to apply to meet me. I can't wait to see you!"

An Update on Our Shelter Kittens 🐾
Recently, we pulled a group of urgent kittens from the shelter to ensure they made it out safely. We wanted to share an update and address a few things directly.
Tragically, rescue work comes with deep heartbreak. Despite emergency efforts, two of the kittens succumbed to severe illness and passed away. The surviving kitten from that litter is doing fantastically well—eating great, gaining strength, and thriving!
The remaining kittens from this intake were safely transferred to another rescue organization and are in good hands.
We are aware that false allegations, rumors, and claims regarding missing animals or improper care are circulating online. To be clear: every kitten pulled under our care has been fully accounted for, and all medical records are complete and verified.
We will not engage in online drama, harassment, or public disputes. Our sole focus remains on the well-being of the animals and doing right by them.
Thank you to our amazing community for your continued support and love. ❤️ sweet Hope getting checked out by the vet and doing great!"
