🐾❤️ $5,000 to Help Prevent Pet Overpopulation! 🎉

We have some PAWSOME news to share!

Canine Pet Rescue has been awarded a $5,000 Spay/Neuter Grant from the Georgia Department of Agriculture! 🐶👏

This funding will help us provide essential spay and neuter surgeries, prevent unwanted litters and reduce the number of dogs entering shelters and rescues.
Every spay or neuter surgery makes a difference. It's not just about helping one animal today—it's about preventing future generations of homeless pets and giving more dogs a chance at a happy, healthy life.

We're incredibly grateful to Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper and the Georgia Department of Agriculture for investing in animal welfare and supporting organizations like ours.

A special shoutout to our friends at Happy Tails for partnering with us to help animals in need! ❤️

🐾 Fewer unwanted litters. Fewer homeless dogs. More happy tails!

Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference, one paw at a time.

😇 Meet Sanders — Angel Face, Very Exclusive Guest List 🐾

Sanders is our handsome blonde-and-white Aussie with the face of an angel and the social circle of a tiny mafia boss.

At just under 40 pounds, Sanders is housetrained, crate trained, good with other dogs and pretty darn easy to live with—once you’ve been accepted into the family.
You see, Sanders isn’t looking to be everybody’s best friend. He has standards. 😂

He doesn’t enjoy being rushed, grabbed or expected to immediately adore every new person he meets. His trust has to be earned.
But once you’re in? You’re IN. ❤️

Sanders adores his foster mom, her boyfriend and his pet sitter. With his chosen people, he’s sweet, affectionate, loyal and completely devoted. He just needs time and space to decide that you’re one of the good ones.

His ideal home is quiet and calm with a dog-savvy single person or couple who understands that the best relationships aren’t always instant. He may gravitate toward women initially, although he has successfully warmed up to men who let him set the pace.

Sanders doesn’t need a social calendar packed with parties and strangers. He needs his person. His routine. His safe place.

And somewhere out there is someone who doesn't need a dog who loves everybody. They just want a dog who will eventually think they are everything. 💙

Could that be you?

Quick Facts:
🐾 Name: Sanders
🐾 Breed: Australian Shepherd
🐾 Age: 3
🐾 Weight: 38 lbs.
🐾 Rescue: Canine Pet Rescue
🐾 Location: Metro Atlanta

😊 PLEASE SHARE! Sanders isn't looking for everyone—he's looking for the right one.
