Meet Lova 🤍🐾

Lova is an approximately 6-year-old female White German Shepherd with a resilient spirit and so much love still to give. Through no fault of her own, her family moved away, leaving her to survive on her own. She spent time living outdoors and searching for food, yet somehow she has remained gentle and hopeful.

Lova is heartworm positive and will need treatment, but she deserves the chance to heal in a safe, loving home. She is already housetrained and is learning that leash walks can actually be enjoyable. Every day, she’s discovering what comfort, routine, and kindness feel like again.

🐾 Meet Aristotle! 🐾 our sweet, soft-hearted, low-speed Border Collie imposter. 🐾

This boy is an absolute sweetheart. His greatest dream in life is not herding sheep, running agility courses, or solving complex mathematical equations like some Border Collies might prefer. No, sir. This boy wants to go inside the kennel office, climb onto the bed, roll over, and receive belly rubs like the treasured baby angel he knows he is.

He may technically be a Border Collie, but he is quite possibly the least Border Collie-ish Border Collie we have ever met.

His version of “fetch” involves carrying the ball up a tiny three-foot hill, dropping it, watching it roll down, then slowly sauntering after it like he’s on a Sunday stroll. He’ll repeat this a few times, mostly to humor the humans, and then he’s off to find some shade for a well-earned rest.

He is a gem with people — sweet, loving, goofy, and eager to please. With other dogs, he can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, but in the most innocent, happy, “I don’t really know what I’m doing but I sure am excited to be here” kind of way.

He is still just a baby, still learning how to dog, and he is so ready for a home of his own. What he lacks in Border Collie intensity, he more than makes up for in sweetness, snuggles, comedy, and heart.

This precious boy just wants to be loved. 🐾💕

Meet Artemis 🖤🐾

Artemis is a young female GSD with a big brain, an even bigger heart, and the kind of loyalty that makes German Shepherd people fall in love with the breed.

She’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world. Car ride? She’s in. Gardening outside for hours? She’ll supervise and “help.” Relaxing on the couch? Expect her to curl up close—preferably with your arm touching her while she sleeps.

One of the sweetest things about Artemis is how gentle and observant she is. She seems fascinated by kids and quietly watches them like she’s trying to understand their tiny human ways. She showed zero reaction being close to a cat—no barking, lunging, or excitement—just curiosity and a look that seemed to ask, “Okay… what’s the protocol here?” She also handled six barking Chihuahuas rushing the fence with complete composure: walked over politely, said hello, and moved on.

Artemis is housebroken and settles in a crate, but she clearly prefers being with her people and isn’t a fan of being left alone in one. She’ll need continued crate confidence and structure in her new home.

She absolutely shines when given something to do. Frisbee? Yes. Balls? Absolutely. Fetch? Her favorite. She loves being outside and would thrive with an active family who enjoys adventures, training, hiking, games, or dog sports.

Honestly, Artemis feels like the kind of dog who could excel in advanced obedience, scent work, agility, or athletic competitions with the right person to channel all that intelligence.

Because of her enthusiasm and size, training will be important if she joins a family with young kids—but her gentle handling and tolerant nature suggest she has all the ingredients to become an incredible family companion.

Artemis isn’t looking for perfection—just someone willing to teach her what she’s never been shown before. In return, she looks ready to give her whole heart. 🐾

🐾 Meet Max – Just a Baby 💙Looking for Forever - and immediate Foster🐾

My name is Max, and I’m only 8 months old. I started my life with someone who bought me from a breeder, but instead of being loved and cared for, I was left with family — and my owner never came back for me.

Today, the family decided they had enough. They loaded me into the bed of a pickup truck, not even restrained or kept safe, and drove me to a metro animal shelter. I didn’t understand where I was going. I’m just a puppy, and everything felt confusing and scary.

But thankfully, my story didn’t end there. I am now safe and on my way to rescue.

I am a sweet boy who is good with other dogs. I may be a little reserved right now, but that’s only because my whole world has changed so suddenly. I don’t know where I’m going or who I can trust yet — but I’m trying. Underneath the uncertainty is a gentle, loving puppy who just needs someone to give me the home and security I should have had all along.

Max needs what every puppy deserves: patience, kindness, stability, and a family who will never give up on him.

🆘 PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED & GREAT DOG - HEADED TO A KILL SHELTER‼️

Nala was adopted from a rescue that has been shut down, now her adopters have to where to turn for help. The older dog in the home is not taking kindly to Nala who needs a new home for everyone's safety.
Nala has been great with other dogs, playful but not harmful to cats, great with kids ( 4 and 6), crate and house trained, very loving and cuddly. Nala had 3 weeks training with OTCK9 and has great manners!! Born 10/2024, 66 lbs, she is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Located in Woodstock GA

Meet Lova 🤍🐾
Lova is an approximately 6-year-old female White German Shepherd with a resilient spirit and so much love still to give. Through no fault of her own, her family moved away and left her behind to survive on her own. She spent time living outdoors and searching for food, yet somehow she has remained gentle and hopeful. She is good with dogs, unknown with cats.

Lova is heartworm positive and will need treatment supplied by the rescue, but she deserves the chance to heal in a safe, loving home. Lova will need a quiet environment for 90-120 days while she completes heartworm treatment.
She is already housetrained and is learning that leash walks can actually be enjoyable. Every day she’s discovering what comfort, routine, and kindness feel like again.
