Almost Home Rescue is a 501c3, all-volunteer dog rescue helping Rhode Island shelter dogs. All donations are tax deductible.

Almost Home Rescue (AHR) is a non-profit dog rescue serving Rhode Island. AHR is comprised of a small, yet dedicated group of volunteers who devote their free time to rescuing, rehabilitating-if necessary- and rehoming dogs in need.

Guess who’s all healed up from his neuter surgery?! Our very own Graham cracker!

Now that he’s recovered, this handsome boy is ready to find his forever home! Here’s what Graham’s foster family has to say about him:

❤️ Affectionate & people oriented: Graham loves being around his people! He follows his foster family from room to room, leans into them for affection, and loves sitting right between their feet. He’s a playful boy who appreciates knowing his people are nearby.

🎾 Playtime is his specialty: This guy is full of energy! He LOVES playing fetch and is a total champion with a tennis ball. He enjoys walks, exploring new scents, and having room to run. A fenced in yard would be a must for this active boy!

🧠 A smart cookie: Graham is food motivated and very eager to learn! He already knows sit and is working on down. He’ll benefit from continued training, especially with his leash manners, and an active family committed to daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation.

🏡 A good houseguest: Graham has been doing great in his foster home! He sleeps peacefully through the night, has had no accidents in the house, and hasn’t chewed anything he shouldn’t. He loves his toys and is always ready for a snack when he hears the fridge or a bag opening! 😂

🐶 What about other dogs and kids? Graham hasn’t shown aggression toward the people he’s met, he hasn’t had much opportunity to socialize with or meet young children. He can also be dog selective.

🌟 Graham’s ideal home: An active family who spends plenty of time at home, has a securely fenced yard, and will give him the exercise, structure, training, and affection he needs to thrive. He has a playful, puppy like personality and so much love to give!

I think it’s safe to say that little Miss Honey is officially ADOPTED! 🥹❤️

We had a feeling this sweet little girl wouldn’t be with us for long, and we couldn’t be happier to see her officially find her forever home!

A huge thank you to her wonderful foster family for giving Honey so much love and helping make her transition as smooth as possible. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done for this little girl! 🐾

Congratulations, Honey! Your happily ever after has officially begun! 🥰🏡❤️
