🛟 James needs help! 🛟

James' owner has informed us of her intention to bring him to a shelter where he will be humanely euthanized. James had an unfortunate incident with a 6lb dog who did not make it.

If you are interested in helping him, please contact us and we will put you in touch with the owner. James was adopted as a puppy from a rescue organization that said they are unable to accept him back.

He is a two-year-old mix of Poodle, Akita, and Doberman. According to his owner, it is not recommended that he live with other animals. James exhibits a prey drive and enjoys chasing creatures in the yard.

We have had the opportunity to interact with James on several occasions, and he enjoys companionship. He wants to be someone’s pal.

****If anyone from his original rescue organization recognizes him and can help, please contact your adopter! You imported him to RI and collected an adoption fee, just sayin’.

James is scheduled to be brought to a shelter on Tuesday.

UPDATE ON AGGIE 🩷

We have the BEST possible news for our sweet girl. During surgery, the team found a large squeaker from a toy lodged in Aggie’s small intestines. Thankfully, the surgeon was able to carefully fold it in half and gently maneuver it into her colon, meaning NO incision into her intestines was needed!

This was truly the best case scenario and we are beyond relieved. Aggie is recovering well and COMING HOME TO US TONIGHT! 🐾

We cannot thank everyone enough for the donations, shares, prayers, and support today. Because of you, Aggie got the emergency care she desperately needed.

We also want to thank Love Is Life Veterinary Clinic for saving Aggie today. We will be partnering with them for future rescue veterinary needs so we can continue helping dogs like Aggie when urgent situations arise.

Thank you all for being part of Aggie’s village. ❤️

🚨 HELP NEEDED FOR AGGIE 🚨

Sweet Aggie, our gentle giant, is currently fighting for her life. 💔 After becoming sick, she was rushed to Tufts in Walpole, MA this morning where imaging confirmed she has a foreign object causing an obstruction in her lower abdomen.

After spending over $1,000 just for emergency diagnostics and stabilization, Aggie is now being transported to another emergency veterinary hospital in Franklin, MA for emergency surgery TODAY. Without surgery, this obstruction can quickly become life threatening.

Aggie is such a loving, gentle soul who deserves every chance at a healthy life and future adoption. We are doing everything we can for her, but the rescue cannot cover this unexpected emergency alone.

Saturdays are for Lucy 💛
