If you are coming all the way from Massachusetts to visit us on November 7th...HURRAH!!!...and please be sure to channel your attention to the many wonderful dogs with the rescue group CAFA, as they are the only ones who are registered in MA.

MA has some rules that make you and the rescues jump through hoops to adopt! Once you've found your new bestie, your only hoop will be waiting for 48 hours to bring him/her home. MA require CAFA to travel up to MA to a certified facility, after which you can pick up your new pup.

Happy Birthday to Chase. Chase just turned 3 and is loving his new life. His family just adopted a little sister for him and she is also a rescue. They enjoy hanging out with their forever family and are so grateful for everyone involved in rescue. Chase’s only worry now is trying to keep his sister from stealing his toys.

This handsome fellow is JD. He’s a 6-8 month old terrier/ lab mix and he will be attending the Nov 7 Always Adopt event in RI. If I were you, I would apply now because this beautiful boy will go fast.

He’s about 50 pounds and likely to be a foster fail if not adopted! He is very smart, quiet, a little shy, and SUPER calm and gentle. He likes water, walking on a leash, playing with foster siblings, and just sitting with his people loving on him. Has been started on potty/ crate training. He is fully vaccinated and has been neutered. He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and loves affection. He loves all humans, dogs and cats. He loves to play and I really think Ive only ever heard him bark a couple of times. He was rescued in Texas when his mother was abandoned and he and his siblings were left inside a crate. He just wants to be loved so badly... just look into his eyes. His life started out so terrible I cannot wait for him to find unconditional love forever.

🐾 URGENT HELP NEEDED: Help Us Get Our Rescue Dogs to Their Forever Homes! 🐾
At CENLA alliance for Animals, C.A.F.A., we work endlessly in Louisiana to save abandoned and vulnerable pets. But right now, we’ve hit an unexpected and heartbreaking obstacle.
Louisiana rodents managed to chew through the wiring of our rescue transport van, rendering it completely unsafe and out of commission.
This couldn’t have come at a worse time. We have a massive, critical adoption event coming up in Rhode Island, but without our van, our dogs have no ride to get there. As a 100% foster-based rescue, events like this are everything—they are the golden ticket for so many of our rescue pups to finally meet their loving forever families.
To ensure our dogs don’t miss this life-changing event, we have to rent a transport van, which will cost us $4,000.
As a small, non-profit rescue, this unexpected $4,000 expense is a huge hit. We desperately need our community to rally behind us so these deserving dogs don’t lose their chance at a new life.
How You Can Help:
💵 Donate: Every single dollar counts! Whether it’s $5 or $50, your donation directly covers the rental cost to get our pack to RI.
🔄 Share: If you can’t donate right now, please SHARE this post! Reaching more animal lovers can make all the difference.
