Meet Sophie! 🐾

Sophie is a 2-year-old, 35lb mixed breed with a whole lot of personality and brains. Is she part Border Collie? Maybe. Is there a little sighthound in there somewhere? Possibly. Whatever her mix may be, one thing is certain this girl is incredibly smart and an excellent companion. Sophie came to us via a rural shelter where she was left tied to the gate. She was extremely emaciated- we could count every rib, bone & hip joints upon intake. 😭

Sophie is currently fostered with two larger dogs and has excellent with them. She has made friends with much larger dogs at the park and is quite social. She’s 110% potty trained and gives ques to go outside. She’s not destructive and super quiet indoors. Her only flaw is when on leash walks- she acts the tazmanian devil when another dog walks by (even though she likes them) & because of this we think staying home in her own yard or car rides to the dog park are best.

She would love a family looking for a loyal, intelligent best friend one who can keep up with her, appreciate her smarts, and give her the love and companionship she deserves. ❤️
