🐾💗 HAPPY NATIONAL VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! 💗🐾

October 18th–October 24th

This week, we want to give a BIG shoutout to our amazing veterinary technicians! 🩺🐶🐱

Our vet techs are the heart of so much of what we do. From caring for your fur babies like their own, comforting nervous pets, assisting our doctors, and keeping everything running smoothly, they do so much behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed. Their compassion, dedication, hard work, and love for animals mean more than words can say. ❤️

👇 NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! 👇

Who is YOUR favorite vet tech at Thomas Animal Clinic? 🥰 Leave a comment below and let them know how much you appreciate them! A little love and kindness can go a long way, and we know our techs would love to hear from you! 💗🐾

🐾🌎 WORLD RABIES DAY 🌎🐾

Rabies is a serious and deadly disease, but it is 100% preventable with vaccination! 💉

Rabies continues to be found in wildlife across Texas, including bats, skunks, raccoons, and foxes.

🐶🐱 Did you know? Texas state law requires dogs and cats to be vaccinated against rabies by 4 months of age and kept current.

Keeping your pet’s rabies vaccine up to date protects your pet, your family, and our community! ❤️

Our sweet stray girl is still searching for a loving foster or forever family! ❤️ Since coming to us, she has made so much progress and continues to come out of her shell every day.

✨ She is:

* Spayed
* Up to date on all vaccines (just one booster left, which we will cover!)
* Comes with 1 year of heartworm and flea prevention
* Does well with most dogs
* Walks nicely on a leash
* Eager to learn and would thrive with a patient, loving family

She has been through a lot, but she’s showing us what a wonderful companion she can be. She just needs someone willing to give her the chance she deserves.

Come meet her at our Open House tomorrow from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM!

If you’re interested in fostering or giving this sweet girl her forever home, please reach out to us! Even sharing this post could help her find the perfect family. 🐶💕

🐶 Friendly reminder: Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly with both people and other dogs. Please keep all dogs leashed at all times.
