Remi would like everyone to know that this appointment could have been an email. 😂

The increased appetite, extra large ni***es and general belief that she deserves additional snacks seemed like plenty of evidence to her…but we went ahead and made it official.

REMI × GOOSE IS CONFIRMED! 🎉

We fell head over heels for the puppies these two gave us with Peak Pursuit, so getting to watch them do it all over again feels pretty special. 🤍

The Lonestar Trailblazers are officially on the way, and if their older siblings are any indication, we’re in for one heck of an adventure. 🤠

As for Remi?

Pregnancy confirmed.
Snack increase justified.
Exam room door located.

She’ll see herself out.✌️ And Goose…his job is done.

Our Nelli girl happily headed to the vet today to justify her big-girl appetite and secure professional approval for additional snacks… and SHE DID IT! 👏

The Dakota Legacy Litter is officially on the way, and we could not be more excited to welcome Nelli × Jett Jr. babies due September 30th!

Mama Nelli is feeling great, taking her new title very seriously, and would like it noted for the record that growing puppies is hard work and snacks should now be administered accordingly. 😂

The countdown to tiny paws begins! 🤎🐾

One of the questions we hear often is: How much can you really know about a puppy when they’re still so young?

The answer? Quite a bit. But not everything. 🤎

By puppy-pick day, we haven’t just spent an hour evaluating each puppy. We’ve spent weeks watching them become themselves—in the big developmental moments, but even more importantly, in hundreds of tiny everyday ones.

We know who follows us while we’re cleaning. Who wanders off to investigate. Who stops to think. Who keeps trying. Who comes looking for help. Who gets knocked over, shakes it off, and dives right back in.

And eventually, patterns begin to emerge.

But we’re never trying to predict exactly who that puppy will become. We’re simply trying to understand who they’re showing us they are right now—and help our families make a choice that gives both puppy and family the best opportunity to thrive together.

Because there isn’t a “best puppy” in a litter but rather the right puppy for the right family.

Some things can’t be explained...only accepted. And the deer probably had questions. 💙 🤣

Mylie may be sporting a bright blue donut thanks to a self-inflicted foot injury, but don’t tell her that. She still spotted a deer and locked up like a pro.

The only thing she’s hunting harder than that deer is her dignity. 🤭
