Bryn and Fiona had a BIG day today!

These two girls did absolutely amazing going in for their OFA health testing. We got a lot checked off the list today:

Hips • Elbows • Cardiac • Patella • Thyroid • CMR • DM • PRA
We’re so proud of both of them!

Health and longevity are incredibly important to us here at Southern Star English Mastiffs, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to ensure we’re producing healthy, happy Mastiffs for our families.

Such good girls! ❤️🐾

Everyone help us wish this beautiful girl Happy birthday!

🐾 HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO OUR BEAUTIFUL FIONA! 🐾

Today our sweet girl Mátra Szikla Ormi Fiona turns 2 years old!

Our beautiful Hungarian import has grown into such an incredible English Mastiff. She is sweet, gentle, loving, and has that true Mastiff personality that makes us fall in love with her more every single day. ❤️

We feel so incredibly blessed to have this girl as part of our Southern Star family. 🇭🇺🐾 She is beautiful on the outside, but it’s her heart and temperament that make her truly special.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Fiona! 🎂🎈
May you have many, MANY more years of being spoiled, loved, and probably getting away with things simply because you're a Mastiff.

We love you, big girl! 🐾❤️
🎉 Happy Birthday, Fiona! 🎉

🧀 THE CHEESE TAX MUST BE PAID! 🧀

I needed to give Athena her medication, so naturally… cheese was involved. 😂

Unfortunately, the only cheese I had was shredded cheese. So instead of politely taking her cheese tax, Athena apparently decided she was starring in an episode of Hungry Hungry Hippo. 🤣🤣

Nom nom nom… WHERE’S THE NEXT PIECE?! 😂

This girl cracks me up. ❤️

She is feeling much better, although we did find out today that she has a UTI, so we’re starting some new medication. And yes… apparently shredded cheese is now part of the treatment plan. 😉🧀

I love this girl more than words can say. ❤️🐾

Happy October!

Athena is doing so well with her recovery after being spayed! ❤️
She’s also sporting her new October Chucky shirt, looking spooky, cool, and absolutely adorable. 🎃🔪
I just wanted to make a little appreciation post for this sweet girl because she is truly the cutest and most wonderful. I love her more than words can say, and I’m so happy to see her doing so well. 🥹❤️

Athena and Bryn ❤️

These two absolutely LOVE each other, and watching their friendship grow is just the sweetest thing. 🥹❤️

Bryn, despite his best efforts to pretend otherwise, has completely accepted Athena as a mother figure. 😂 And Athena seems perfectly happy with her new little shadow.

They are truly best friends, and I just can’t get enough of watching these two together. Moments like this are exactly why I love having these big goofy Mastiffs. 🐾❤️

Do your dogs have that one special friendship that just melts your heart? 🥰

Little Tom Bombadil ❤️

This boy has such a gentle soul. 🥰 He may be a big ol’ boy, but he has the sweetest heart.

I just absolutely love this boy. ❤️🐾
