Painted Pony Stables Riding Academy We have training programs for beginner through advanced riders both children and adults! We specialize in Western riding as well as Gymkhana Events!

Painted Pony Riding Academy is established in the heart of Colts Neck, New Jersey. Our goal for our training academy is to increase our students' comfort level working around horses and ponies. We want to develop their horsemanship skills, build their general horse-related knowledge to safely and effectively ride a horse or a pony. PLEASE DRIVE SLOW SINCE THERE IS WILDLIFE IN THIS PART OF COLTS NECK. WHEN YOU TURN INTO THE DRIVEWAY OF 80 OBRE ROAD PLEASE GO 15 MPH. YOU WILL SEE THE FIRST BARN AND CONTINUE PAST THAT TILL YOU REACH A RACE TRACK. STOP LOOK BOTH WAYS AND CONTINUE ALONG THE ROAD TILL YOU REACH THE SECOND BARN WHERE PAINTED PONY STABLES RIDING ACADEMY IS. DIRECTIONS:

From 34 South:
Turn right on RT 537 drive aprox (2.5) miles and then turn right on Hockhockson Rd. Cross train tracks and then turn right on Obre road. 80 Obre road is the last driveway before the bridge on the right. From 34 North:
Turn left on RT 537 drive aprox (2.5) miles and then turn right on Hockhockson Rd. From 18 North/South:
Take Exit 15A for Wayside Road North, turn left on to Pinebrook, and then right onto Obre ROAD. The barn is ton the left at 80 Obre Road! Sometimes the GPS will take you in the wrong direction, so please call if you get lost 732-771-3962

Looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our PPRA team! This is a part-time position with the opportunity to work full-time for the right person.

Responsibilities include:
• Daily barn chores (feeding, watering, etc.)
• General barn maintenance and upkeep
• Turnout/bringing in horses
• Basic facility management tasks
• Keeping the barn clean, organized, and running smoothly

Requirements:
• Own form of transportation
• Experience with horses
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be dependable and comfortable with physical labor in all weather conditions

What a way to end off the 2025 Show Season! Our last Keystone of the year and our last Gymkhana of the year.
It was only fitting we dressed up for the Keystone Costume Contest as Despicable Me! All of my minions came to win and we did just that! In a costume or not the minions are always down to put in the work.
All of my riders have grown immensely this past year and it truly shows through their hard work and dedication to the sport. So many firsts for many riders this year! I cannot wait to see what 2026 brings for you all and your new additions to your family❤️ Congratulations to all the riders on a successful show season!!🐴🛢️💪
