No one to foster a pure lab?

Update owner placed!

🐾💙 MEET BODE — LOOKING FOR A FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME! 💙🐾

This handsome silver Labrador Retriever is looking for a place to call home! Bode will celebrate his first birthday in November, and he’s ready for a fresh start with a family who can help him thrive. 🐶

Bode is:
🐾 Fully potty trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Young, energetic, and full of life!

Bode is a typical young Lab with lots of enthusiasm and excitement for everything life has to offer! Unfortunately, his size and high energy have become overwhelming for the older dogs in his current home. His exuberance has also made their granddaughter fearful of him.

His family has made the difficult decision to seek help finding a home that will be a better fit for his needs. They love him and want to do what is best for him, even when that means making a heartbreaking decision. ❤️

🐾 What kind of home does Bode need?

Bode would thrive with an active person or family who understands young Labradors and can provide plenty of exercise, training, attention, and structure. He’s still young and has so much to learn, but with patience, consistency, and guidance, he has the potential to become an incredible companion!

🏡 HOUSE OF HOUNDS RESCUE IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME FOR BODE!

Could you open your home to this handsome boy and help us give him the fresh start he deserves? Fostering gives dogs like Bode a chance to transition into a better-fitting environment while we work toward finding their perfect forever home.

Even if you can’t foster, please SHARE this post! You never know who might be the perfect match for Bode. ❤️

🐾 Let’s help Bode find his people! 🐾

Now squid is the only one left from the litter that is patiently waiting, to find his forever home

Meet Squid! ❤️

Squid is a sweet, smart boy who absolutely loves people and wants to be wherever his humans are! We believe Squid may be a Cattle Dog mix, and he definitely has some of those energetic, working-dog qualities.

He loves being outside, staying busy and learning new things. He is food motivated, already knows sit, and is working hard on his potty training, leash skills and crate training.

Squid would do best with a family who understands high-energy, working-type dogs and is ready to give him the exercise, structure, training and mental stimulation he needs. He’s a smart boy who wants a job and would thrive with an active family!

He does well with other dogs and would love a home with another dog to keep him company. He currently lives with three adult dogs. He is good with cats and enjoys playing, although he does like to hunt, so his family should be comfortable managing that prey drive.

Squid will be joining us to walk in the Clinton Falls festival parade this coming Sunday!

Squid has no food aggression and is such a fun, loving, intelligent boy. ❤️

If you’re looking for a buddy to get outside, stay active and keep you on your toes, Squid might be your guy!
