Last week it was soft cat food. This week it's both, soft cat food and soft dog food. Maybe 2 days worth left. And we also have the 2nd ac in the dog cabin starting to go out. Cuz one wasn't enough this season. ( had to replace the one for the garage dogs)
We could really use some help!!!

Its $5 Tuesday.
We have a large amount of dry dog food.
After a nice donation of cat food, we are running low on that again. And in this heat that's mostly what they are eating.
Wet dog food. We were able to get some, maybe just a few days worth
My health is failing, and we are struggling with just one income.

Also, we had some bags of blankets donated this morning. But winter is coming and to avoid scrambling at the last minute. We could use any towels, sheets, blankets that you are cleaning out.

I picked up Cali from the shelter today as soon as they opened. They worked her and gave her the core vaccines. She only needs a check up and rabies shot now. She is weighing in at 9.6 pounds. So the pictures did not do justice to her size. Her eyes are clean. Ears and fur are clean. She is very vocal and loves head pets.
She already has a potential adopter. So she shouldn't have to stay here long before she can settle into what will be her forever home.
She was chipped. They could have contacted me 1st. And 100% I would have accepted her back. Instead of going to the scarey shelter.
She looks like she has had a pretty good life tho. Im very grateful for that.
Haven't gotten any new pics yet, because of course she's a little nervous and is doing normal cat things, hiding under the bed. I will hold her here for 72 hours, to see if she develops any symptoms from being at the shelter, then she will move to her home.
To everyone that has ever adopted from me. The policy stands. At any time I accept any of my animals back. I'll get some pictures of her this evening when the day winds down.

Was south today visiting my granddaughter before college starts and life gets busy.
Phone rings. Fwacc north. Hello we have a cat that was surrendered today, chipped back to you. The man surrendering her, after adopting as a kitten 8 years ago, has allergies.
This the moment of silence, as I was thinking all the not nice things in my head.
Anyways, they named her Cali, and I'll be picking her up from the shelter tomorrow.
8 years later, you got allergies and dumped her at the shelter? I still have no nice words. So I'll be quiet.
Heres to hoping she's still in good health, and a sweet kitty.
She looks a little thin to me and scared to death.

After being with us for a few years, Miss Kitty is getting her forever home. She's gonna be spoiled rotten and have another kitty friend.
Miss Kitty came in as an owner surrender. That was on hard times. I hope that she sees this and it fills her heart with joy knowing, she has found her forever home

Anyone cleaning out their closets. We are needing used:
Blankets( preferably no stuffing or fringe)
Sheets
Towels
Pillow cases
Gently used dog and cat beds
Cat trees
All donations would be amazing.
I wash thier beds every other day. So they wear out quickly.
