Adoption success story : Izzy! 💕

Izzy was adopted in August 2019, back when we were still known as Zoi’s Animal Rescue, and today, we get to share a little reminder of just how beautiful adoption can be.

Her owner says Izzy has been her greatest blessing and a great friend. Together, they’ve traveled from Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon all the way to Gulf Shores, Alabama! She can’t imagine her life without Izzy, and is so grateful that she came into her life!

We know that sometimes, adopting an adult dog can feel scary. There are unknowns, questions, and worries about whether they’ll fit into your life. As a rescue, we do our very best to match our dogs with homes where they can thrive and succeed.

Sometimes, taking a chance on a dog with an unknown past can lead to the most beautiful future. The dog you’re nervous to take a chance on might just become the blessing you can’t imagine life without. 💕

MEET ARCHIE! 🧡🧡🧡

At just 10 weeks old, Archie is starting his journey toward finding his forever family! 🐾

Archie started his vaccines this weekend and will be neutered soon. While he’ll be a few weeks away from being officially ready for adoption, we’re opening applications now!

He’s currently living in a foster home with other cats and dogs, so he’s getting experience around both!

If you’ve been thinking about adding a little orange sunshine to your life, Archie might just be your guy! 🧡🐱

Sam’s Bandit 💟

This clever gal knew an animal lover when she saw one! 😆 She hopped right into one of our volunteers’ cars at the Sam’s gas pumps in Owasso and REFUSED to leave! 😂❤️

Now this little bandit is looking for her purrrever home! 🐾

Sam has already stolen our hearts… now she just needs a family to steal theirs! 💗🏡

💀 Skully from our Halloween Litter showed on Saturday and sadly didn’t go home with anyone.

Skully is an outgoing, affectionate, and enthusiastic fella.

Colby Jack was such a good boy at his very first PetSmart adoption event! 🥹 He sat so quietly in his kennel, made the BIGGEST biscuits, and sucked on his blanket. He was the sweetest little gentleman, and somehow, no one chose him.

Colby Jack does well with other dogs and cats, but he can get a little mouthy when he plays, so a home with older children may be the best fit for him.

He’s playful, entertaining, full of personality, and SO ready to trade kennel life for a couch of his own.

👻 Phantom & Ghost debuted this weekend but sadly didn’t go home with anyone !!

Ghost (grey/white) is the largest of the litter at 30lbs. He’s an absolute lovebug and very much wishes to be someone’s Velcro dog ! Ghost loves other dogs, kids, and cats.

Phantom (red/white) is also a little sweetie eager to find his family. He is currently fostered with a variety of large and small dogs and plays well with others.

👉Both are doing great on their crate training but are not housebroken.

China was our beautiful butterfly at our event yesterday. Surprisingly she wasn’t selected by anyone, but we know her family is out there !

👉She’s about 25lbs, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
