We sold out!
I was supposed to post this before market. But that idea didn’t work out, and the draft sat in my phone all day. Turned out the intro wasn’t entirely necessary, as we sold out of all our steak mushroom sandwiches. HOWEVER, Jeff managed to score some additional ramps from , so we will have it again next week!!!
Note: the recipe for the steak mushrooms is in our cookbook.

What a story!
Chuck as always gave us smiles - as well as Easter cheer. The rollout of our new Turkish-style lions mane gyro was super successful in that everyone who tried it loved it and we sold out in an hour. Course we didn’t bring much cause it was such a rainy day. Thank you to everyone who came to market, tasted & enjoyed.

Easter Weekend!

Sunday: Beacon 10-2 (Rain rain go away!!!)

This weekend we have plenty of mushrooms for all holiday celebrations😃 Our Test Kitchen (me) is planning something new tomorrow: a lion’s mane gyro. So am: Beacon Breakfast Sandwiches till they run out. Starting about 11 we will be heating up the pitas for our Lions Mane gyro sandwiches. Lettuce, tomato, tzatziki-style sauce (I add a hint of mint). The secret is that it’s vegan. Hope to see you in Tarrytown today or In Beacon tomorrow!

What are YOU doing for Friday the 13th & Valentines day?

This is the current menu (subject to change of course) for our tea party. Some of our best ingredients come from local food artists- sourdough milk bread from , oyster mushroom caramel from , maple syrup from atmosphere, fizzy seltzer from environment & cupcakes from but the most important ingredient comes from (yes, us) - mush love. What a winter!
We are super happy to be at Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Farmers Market this coming Saturday. Find us there for your fresh mushrooms, some hot chocolate elixir and delicious soup and risotto. Sunday, Beacon Farmers market has already been cancelled due to the expected snow storm.

Seriously, closures hurt.
