Our little Sushi is a whole 4oz now and thriving! He has a strong meow and is an incredibly strong climber. We are all in love with him and can’t wait to see if he ends up fluffy like his momma 🩶

The four kittens are almost done with their meds to treat their respiratory infection and will be ready for their spay/neuter apts on the 13th! They’re adjusting well to us humans handling them all the time so we let them free for some play time. While they were unsure at first they came around and had some fun 😺 We even had a snuggle party going with our own cat, Cheese, showing them the ropes!

That beautiful cat that we are fostering for Sammy’s surprised us with a baby! Needless to say her spay apt got pushed back 😏

We took her to First City Vet to make sure she’s strong and healthy after giving birth. Unfortunately, she’s just not very thrilled to be a momma. I don’t blame her, she’s just a baby herself 💁🏻‍♀️ Now that just means we get to take on the role of mommy kitty for the next 3 months 😻 I’d say he’s got a pretty sweet setup to make sure he stays happy and healthy, thanks to Sammy’s Rescue!!

Let’s see what else Rescue life throws at us 😹 Keeping us on our toes and I’m here for it!!

Bob the Bobcat was finally released on Tuesday. It didn’t seem like he was very eager to leave, but with a little encouragement he took off. We hope he wanders back around so we know he’s still doing okay and can give him some food.

But don’t you worry, we’re still keeping busy by fostering four kittens and a cat for Sammy's Animal Rescue 😄

We’ve been so happy helping Sammy’s Rescue, so much so, she’s inspired us to start our own rescue!! While we already had plans to start transporting pets on the west coast and got licensed to do so, we really hadn’t thought about applying for a rescue license until recently.

After trapping our neighborhood cat, which we’ve now named Bob the Bobcat (I’ll let you wonder why we named him this), I decided to pull the trigger and start the application process. SO, now we not only have the pleasure of grooming pups, but we also get to enjoy transporting pets safely and best of all privately! And last but not least, we can help animals in need, such as Bob.

And as always, I’ll have my incredibly patient husband by my side helping every step of the way. As well as my two kiddos that absolutely love the “job” their parents have 🥰
