🐾Shiloh’s First Groom🎉
This sweet girl had been turned away elsewhere because she was struggling, so I’m incredibly glad her mom brought her to me. 🥹
Shiloh was scared of the clippers and kept trying to jump off the table, so instead of pushing her, we slowed down with plenty of breaks, reassurance, patience, and trust-building. A haircut that usually takes two hours took about four, but helping her have a positive experience mattered more than finishing quickly.
By the end, she let me clip her body, paws, and even her face. 🥹 She relaxed, gained confidence, and we completed her haircut!
Sometimes a “difficult” puppy is simply a scared puppy who needs extra time and understanding. Today wasn’t just about a cute haircut; it was about showing Shiloh that grooming can be safe and that she can do hard things. 💕
This little miss had gained so much more confidence by the end of her groom. So proud of you, baby Shiloh! 🐾✂️
