Welcome to the RMAH Team, Dr. Alexa Trees! 🐾
We are incredibly excited to welcome Dr. Alexa Trees to the Rocky Mountain Animal Hospital family! 🎉
Dr. Trees is the FOURTH veterinarian we have added to our team this year, and we couldn't be more excited about what this continued growth means for our patients and our community.
As Rocky Mountain Animal Hospital continues to grow, our goal remains the same: to provide exceptional veterinary medicine, compassionate care, and a team that is here when you need us.
Adding another talented veterinarian allows us to continue expanding our availability, strengthening our team, and serving even more families throughout Casper and Central Wyoming. ❤️
Please join us in giving Dr. Alexa Trees a huge RMAH welcome! We are thrilled to have you on the team, Dr. Trees! 👏🐶🐱

BIO:
Dr. Trees, a born and raised Wyomingite, is happy to be back in her home state after receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University. Her love for all animals big and small started at a young age with her family’s personal pets in Cheyenne, WY and horses at her grandparent’s house in Kinnear, WY. She jumped into showing rabbits with Laramie County 4-H at a young age, and helped neighbors and friends with their horses, pigs, cattle, goats, sheep, chickens, alpacas, and more any chance she got. While she always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian, that passion grew when her local veterinary clinic actively involved her in treating a complicated situation with her rabbit. As she grew older she attended the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!) and received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.
While at the University of Wyoming she discovered a passion for shelter medicine after working closely with and fostering for Laramie Animal Welfare Society. Dr. Trees has experience in both shelter medicine as well as general practice settings. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, integrative medicine, shelter medicine, behavioral medicine, and end of life care. She strives to make meaningful connections with pets and their owners while helping the Wyoming community around her thrive.
When not working, Dr. Trees finds herself soaking up time with family and friends, volunteering with Christian Veterinary Missions, and loving on her Pitbull mix Amren and very opinionated old lady kitty Kiara. Dr. Trees is a book fiend (when you see her please feel free to give her your book recommendations). She also finds joy in all things outdoors whether it be gardening, hiking, or fishing as well as crafting and working on many home DIY projects since finding her home in Casper.
