Bonnie's 8 puppies. They are 6 weeks old today and they come with a history for their young lives. Bonnie was in a homeless camp in Portland when another homeless person stole the puppies (they were only 2 weeks old) it took 2 days and police involvement to get them back to the man that owned them. We were contacted about taking mom and babies - thank goodness!!!! They have been thriving with Bonnie's good mothering and Amy's dedication! They can be pre adopted but they need their vac's and then spay and neuter before going to their new families. There are 5 girls and 3 boys, Chip, Mars and Licorice are the males. Hello Mostly Mutts Friends!
A few pictures from our Fundraiser/yard sale last weekend. We started out hoping (mostly praying) for this to be a success as the rescue was in need due to our funds being scary low. We hoped for $4,000.00 our 3 day total $4325.89!!!!!! At first we knew we didn't make that total then a gentleman that stopped by and helped us with some weights for our wayward awnings, Amy said we would make sure he got them back. Soooooo when he came to the rescue to pick them up we had the washer and dryer still in the back of the truck as they had not sold. He said he would like to buy them AND PRESTO we went from not making the goal to going above our 4,000.00 God is so faithful!
We had many helpers: Cynthia & Johnathan, (donated their yard) Addie, Charly, Pam, Rich, Norine, Lisa, Lance, Nancy, Dale, Anne and Cherie. So MANY of you donated amazing items which helped us make this goal!! Cherie's ice cream sandwiches (all donated) were a huge hit!
The picture with Charly (red visor) she is 11 years old she came up with the idea to have a lemonade stand!!! Sharing her profits with Mostly Mutts.

We are reposting Georgia Mae. Someone needs this wonderful dog!!! She was adopted by our Rescue 5 years ago. Her parents divorced, then the mom gave Georgia to her brother in Arizona. He "lost her" then she ended up on the street a good Samaritan found her, found out through micro chip that she was one of our dogs. She is now back at the rescue looking for her new family. She is a WONDERFUL DOG! She just wants to hang with her person. She is always happy! She doesn't get into anything, chew on anything, she does "talk" tho. She gets along with all the dogs here even the "littles" she is careful. Just sayin...she is a perfect dog.

Meet Charlie, Charlie is 5 years old and a very sweet boy. He gets along with all the dogs at the rescue. He is an owner surrender (sad) but is happy here and doing well. He needs a family! He didn't understand how he went from a family to being in a run at the rescue. When he is outside with us or a volunteer he just wants to sit by you. He knows most commands even shakes with both paws. He's also relatively small at 58 lbs. Please share this post!!
