🐱🌎 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CATS OF WEST VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY 🌎🐱

Greetings, humans.

As you may know, today is National Cat World Domination Day.

After extensive planning, countless naps, and several emergency meetings conducted inside cardboard boxes, we are pleased to announce that our takeover is proceeding exactly as planned.

Our accomplishments thus far include:

✔️ Convincing humans to purchase elaborate cat trees that we refuse to use
✔️ Training humans to wake up at 4:00 AM for breakfast
✔️ Taking control of approximately 87% of available blankets
✔️ Making eye contact while knocking things off shelves
✔️ Securing unlimited treats through strategic purring

Our next phase of domination requires your cooperation.

Specifically:
🐾 More laps
🐾 More treats
🐾 More cardboard boxes
🐾 More adoptions

Many of our feline agents here at WVHS are currently undercover, posing as adoptable shelter cats while patiently waiting to recruit new staff members (also known as "owners").

Some of our dogs have been waiting far too long for a place to call home.

Even with loving staff, daily care, enrichment, toys, treats, walks, and attention, shelter life is still stressful. As weeks turn into months, many dogs begin to struggle. They can become withdrawn, anxious, frustrated, or simply lose confidence. Shelter life just isn't the same as having a family.

That's where fostering can make a life-changing difference. 💛

A foster home gives a dog a chance to relax, decompress, learn household routines, and enjoy the comfort of a couch, a yard, and a human of their own—even if it's only temporary.

For some dogs, fostering helps them stay happy and healthy while they wait for adoption. For others, it helps us learn more about them so we can find their perfect match.
