This Saturday for cat nails and cat adoptions!! ALL AVAILABLE CATS/KITTENS ARE ALREADY SPAYED/NEUTERED, felv/fiv tested neg, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for earmites, worms and fleas, and microchipped!

Reminder: you can stop by anytime during our public hours to look at cats and pick one out, but will need certain team members there to do the adoptions. You can also contact us [email protected] to set up an appointment to come look and adopt a cat either during public hours OR A TIME THAT IS CONVENIENT FOR BOTH PARTIES. 😊

Sable girl is still patiently waiting for her forever. She is literal PERFECTION as a dog. Gentle, calm but will play, likes other dogs and cats, was housebroken, kennel trained. She is 60-70lbs- a big girl who would do best with some space. She walks nicely on a leash. She is good with kids, though screeching/jumping toddlers scare her a little bit. She is finishing her heartworm treatment because unfortunately she was heartworm positive when we got her. For serious applicants we can discuss what the next several months will need to look like for her- but by November she should be cleared ! 😊🥰 Whoever adopts this girl will get the best companion, this girl is truly a gem and a favorite at CCHS.

Born and raised together. These two brothers are very sweet, affectionate and very playful! Dr. Brown is very partial to these two and has offered to pay their adoption fees if the go to a great home AND THEY HO TOGETHER!! 💙💙

Meet miss Zoe 👑🎀

⭐️⭐️SPECIAL NEEDS⭐️⭐️
Zoe is approximatley 2 years old. 40 ish lbs. Maybe an aussiedoodle ? She is likely a double merle... ⬇️

A double merle dog inherits two copies of the merle coat-pattern gene instead of one. This occurs when two merle dogs are bred together, giving each puppy a 25% chance of being a double merle. They often feature predominantly white coats and pink skin due to a lack of pigment, leading to high rates of blindness and deafness. Careless breeders or breeders looking for higher value merle coats can cause this, and then discard the "defective" ones because they arent worth money when trying to sell.

Zoe is deaf. Her vision is intact. She requires a home that is willing to teach her sign language commands for communication. She also requires a fenced in yard and a home without young kids. She is very velcro- wants to be next to you allllll the time, and is constantly looking to her people for direction.

Applications are located on our website, ccilhs.org. 💠🐾 Appointments to meet dogs are by appointment with approved application ONLY. 🐾💠Dogs cannot be met during open hours due to staff limitations. Please be patient as we review applications, we are a limited volunteer organization. You will be contacted if approved, or you will be notified if you applied but the dog gets adopted.
