FOUND! – BLITZ IS HOME🐶

Blitz is still missing somewhere in the Breese area, and his family is desperately trying to bring him home.

He was last seen near Holy Cross Lane by Excel, hiding along a timber line. After work, his owner was able to spot him heading toward St. Vincent, but when she called for him near the YMCA, he became frightened, ran into a field, and was lost from sight.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Blitz is very shy and scared. If you see him, PLEASE DO NOT approach him or chase him, as he will likely run. Instead, keep an eye on him if possible and contact his family immediately so they can respond.

📞 Contact:

• 618-477-9573

There was also a report of a dog barking near Shoal Creek, but no confirmed sightings have been made there.

💲 A $100 reward is being offered for Blitz’s safe return.

His family just wants him home. Please share this post, keep an eye out, and contact the numbers above with any sightings. Every lead helps!

❤️ Let’s help bring Blitz home safely.

The Breese Dog Park is officially OPEN! 🐾🎉

This space wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from our dedicated committee members, the City of Breese, J-Square Fence LLC, and so many amazing local businesses.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, supported the project, and patiently stuck with us along the way.

We did it, Breese!

Hi everyone! We were made aware through the Breese community page that a padlock has been placed on the dog park.

The padlock was added to keep dogs out during the winter and early spring months to allow the dirt areas time to grow grass for the spring.

While we’re just as eager to continue enjoying the park now that it’s finally ready, it is city property, and we must follow their direction. We’ll be sure to share any updates when city gets back to us.

🐾 HUGE UPDATE! - The Breese Dog Park has been built! 🎉🐶

We went from no updates to this incredible milestone in just one week, and we wanted to be 100% certain before sharing the news.
👉 Check out the photos below!

The fencing was completed by J- Square Fence LLC, and the park includes water spigots for easy access to fresh water for our dogs.

This project has been 2.5 years in the making and fueled by an amazing community effort. Together, we raised nearly $25,000 through dog walks, golf scrambles, Pooch Playoffs, Super Bowl Squares boards, Barks & Brews bar hops, trivia nights, and countless generous business donation days.

This dog park would not have been possible without the incredible support of our committee members, the City of Breese, J-Square Fence LLC, and so many local businesses. A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated, supported, volunteered, and patiently waited with us throughout this journey.

We did it, Breese! 🐾🎉
