Equestrian Inc. was visited today by the Gaither Navy ROTC cadets. They did a great job of pulling down all of the vines that had grown up over our fences. Everyone had a good time especially one of our horses who felt he had to inspect every wheelbarrow. Thanks so much all cadets and to Senior Chief Cason who made it all happen. You are all welcome back anytime.

Going In Style is your next trail horse! Soft in the contact, the kind of comfortable you can sit on all day. Not a care in the world. While he is limited, he still has so much to offer given his calm nature. He would eat up some in hand obstacles too!

You all may remember this familiar face that didn’t last too long with us, Tuscan Thunder! He is happy to have a job again after finishing his sesamoid fracture rehabilitation. These guys have so much more to give in their post-track lives when given the time, patience, and opportunity to heal and learn a new job.

We’re excited to share that Going In Style has restarted light groundwork and is showing us what a great brain he has. He’s smart, willing, and has a wonderful attitude about his work. We’re taking things slowly and allowing him to build strength and confidence at his own pace.

Going In Style previously suffered a sesamoid fracture that has healed, but does have some arthritis. He should remain in front shoes to stay comfortable. As part of his ongoing maintenance, he is also given Equioxx daily.

One thing potential adopters should know: Going In Style is a cribber, and this behavior is more pronounced when he is stalled. His future home will need to be comfortable managing this and provide an environment that supports his physical and mental well-being.

Nova has been with us since January rehabbing a suspensory tear that healed perfectly. We are seeking a trail/pleasure job for him. Here is a glimpse of him in training with us! This guy has come a long way in a short time and is still looking for his special someone that is confident and physically capable of bringing along a green one. No bolting or bucking, but can be the “looky” type. He has a great disposition on the ground, turns out well with others, great in the stall. He is happiest in front shoes, but no other maintenance is needed. His adoption fee is 2,000.

We are so excited to announce that Humble Joe has been adopted and landed the jackpot with his new family! They adopted Angels Can Fly from us earlier this year and wanted another trail horse to add to their family. Joey is settling in perfectly. Happy Trails to Joey and Angel! ❤️🥰
