Meet Modine! The dog with a big heart, a big smile, and now a big opportunity! 💛🐾

Modine is currently out in foster with Pet Suites of Carrollwood and we could not be more grateful for this amazing partnership. They stepped up after fostering and adopting one of our longest-stay pups, Amber/Mooreen, and now they’re giving Modine the same love and visibility. This kind of community support truly changes lives. Thank you, Pet Suites! 💙

Modine is thriving in foster care! She’s loving group play, making dog friends, and showing everyone just how social she really is. Staff and volunteers adore her. She’s playful, affectionate, and has a wonderful mix of goofy energy and cuddle bug charm. She learns quickly, aims to please, and she absolutely shines when given structure and love.

And thanks to Pet Suites of Carrollwood, she’s prepared for her next chapter!

Princess is our autumn queen 🍂👑

This lovely girl greets her people with a wagging tail, soft eyes, and a whole lot of sweetness. She walks beautifully on leash and explores the world with curiosity. In the yard, Princess loves gentle affection, happily leaning in for pets and quietly taking in all the sights and sniffs.

Princess has shown she’s dog tolerant in playgroup, allows all handling from staff, and loves hopping up beside her friends for snuggles and attention. She may get excited at times but she’s learning how to show off her princess manners. 👑

While she will need a home without small animals, Princess is more than ready to be someone’s loyal companion.

Meet Cinnabun and Pumpkin! Two perfectly seasonal pups looking for homes as warm as a mug of c***r. ❤️

Cinnabun 🍰
This short king is as sweet as his name! With golden eyes and a cautious-but-loving heart, Cinnabun blossoms when given time and patience. Once he trusts you, he melts into belly rubs, cuddles, and all the cozy vibes. He’s house trained with great leash manners. Cinnabun enjoys calm dog friends, soft toys, and relaxing near his people.

Pumpkin 🎃
Pumpkin starts out a little shy, especially in new or busy environments. But once he warms up, he loves leaning in for affection and cozying up beside you. He enjoys gentle fetch, exploring the yard, rolling in fall leaves (sometimes mud), and taking in the world at his own peaceful pace. Pumpkin has great manners, takes treats softly, and walks beautifully on leash.

Our Very Own Peppa Pig! 🐾

At 12 years young, Peppa is living proof that age is just a number! Like her cartoon namesake, she’s full of curiosity, gentle mischief, and a love for adventure. Whether she’s pawing at the door or bouncing on her front paws, Peppa’s days are filled with sniffs, smiles, and plenty of “oinks” of joy.

She’s a treat-motivated superstar who knows “sit” and “paw.” Volunteers say she’s playful, enjoys exploring the garden, and gives quick face licks—her version of Peppa Pig’s famous muddy puddle jumps! Even when she’s a little shy about the leash, she warms up quickly and is easy to walk.

Peppa does have a soft tissue sarcoma (a skin mass), but it’s not slowing her down. She’s still ready for playgroups, strolls, and lots of love. Like many older dogs, she needs a family who’ll cherish her golden years and keep her comfy and happy.

If you’re looking for a gentle, goofy, and loving companion, Peppa is ready to be your best friend. Adopt Peppa and let her bring a little “piggy” joy to your life—because every day with her is a new adventure!

Meet Bongo!

This gentle guy arrived as a stray in mid June, and ever since, he’s been showing us his adorable personality: equal parts cuddly, goofy, playful, and sensitive.

Some of Bongo’s favorite things:
• Splashing in the pool and rolling in the grass
• Sitting next to you for soft pets
• Quiet naps in soft beds
• Short, happy walks and the occasional zoomie burst
• Watching the world from a sunny spot

He can get a bit excited in his kennel, but once he’s out, Bongo transforms into an easygoing companion. His foster shared that he was gentle, snuggly, housebroken, and even braves the couch for cozy cuddle time.

He’s sensitive to storms and loud noises, so he would thrive in a calm home where he can feel safe and adored. He also has some dental needs typical for a senior pup, but nothing that love, care, and a trusted vet can’t help with.

Meet Seymour! He's a 4 year old hound mix with the sweetest spirit and a heart that just wants to belong. ❤️

Seymour may start out a little shy, but give him a few minute and suddenly you’ve got a cuddle buddy melting into your lap.

This handsome boy has become a volunteer favorite for so many reasons:
• Dog social! He loves greeting other pups with a wiggly body.
• Affection pro. Whether it’s leaning in for scratches, offering his belly, or quietly sitting beside you, Seymour thrives on gentle attention.
• Easy to walk. He may pull a little at times, but mostly he strolls right beside you, checking in often.
• Adventure Tail superstar. Once he warms up, he enjoys car rides, visiting pet friendly stores, exploring new places, and—of course—finding the comfiest shady spot to lounge.
• Pool enthusiast. This boy LOVES water and will happily plop right in like it’s his personal spa.

Seymour can be a bit nervous with loud noises, busy areas, or new experiences—but he’s incredibly brave and willing to try when he has someone kind by his side. Watching him gain confidence is pure magic. ✨

He’s the type of dog who bonds deeply, loves sincerely, and just wants someone patient to help him bloom into his fullest, happiest self.

A high energy goofball with a heart full of enthusiasm!🤪

Sincere is a young adult pup arrived as a stray in mid June, and ever since then, he’s been making sure everyone knows he’s there by joyfully bouncing at his kennel door like, "Pick me! Pick me!” 😄💙

Once he’s out of his kennel, Sincere transforms into a fun, expressive, social butterfly:
• Loves other dogs and gets SUPER excited to see them
• Enjoys exploring every inch of the yard
• Accepts pets, though he can get a little overstimulated from too much affection at once
• Loves to run for toys — even if he forgets the whole “bring it back” part
• Big fan of laying on you if there’s a bench involved

Sincere is just one of those dogs who feels EVERYTHING at 110%. Excitement, curiosity, the urge to roam, the desire to play. He’s still learning how to settle his feelings, and he’ll thrive with an adopter who can help him find his calm.

He’s silly, sweet, animated, and genuinely tries his best… he just needs someone patient and understanding to help him shine. ✨

Date night with Anthony! ❤️🕺

Anthony went out on a date with his foster last Friday and was a perfect gentleman dog. He even selected a perfect toy for the outing and rode nicely in the car!

They made their way to a restaurant where they ate at an outside table. Anthony tried very hard not to beg and was rewarded with his own nibbles.

He came home and went into his bed to dream about having a wonderful life in his forever home! 😴

SQUIRREL ALERT! The zoomiest, softest, most wiggly little adventure buddy at PRC!

If you’ve ever yelled “SQUIRREL!” in excitement? This boy fully embodies that energy. A young adult with a big heart, soft coat, and a goofy grin, Squirrel is the perfect mix of silly enthusiasm and sweet sensitivity.

🐾 He’s social with other dogs and loves making new friends
🐾 Known for his initial “wiggle n pull” greeting, he quickly settles into being an absolute pro on adventures.
🐾 Loves splashing in water, rolling in sand, exploring all the smells, and soaking up nonstop affection.
🐾 In the car? Total angel. Riding like he’s living his best life.
🐾 In stores? Curious, excited, but easily redirected — he just wants to see EVERYTHING.

Sure, he’s still learning the finer points of leash walking, but he’s incredibly eager to please and picks things up quickly. With a little patience and practice, he’ll be your trail partner.

Squirrel is ready to spring out of the shelter and into a home full of adventure, enrichment, and love.
