💙 A Bittersweet Goodbye & an Exciting New Chapter 🐾

After more than four incredible years at Fountains of Boynton Animal Hospital, today I officially retire my hat as Hospital Manager.

My journey in veterinary medicine began back in 1996, and for the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in hospital management. Through every chapter, one thing has remained the same: my love for our patients, their families, our teams, and this incredible profession.

To our amazing clients — thank you for trusting me and our team with your pets. To my team — thank you for your dedication, hard work, laughs, challenges, memories, and everything we accomplished together. And to the Boynton Beach community — thank you for allowing me to serve you for these past four-plus years.

Although I’m saying goodbye to Fountains, I’m incredibly grateful that I’m not saying goodbye to veterinary medicine. ❤️ I’m simply beginning a new chapter, supporting this industry that I love in a different capacity.

Fountains will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish this hospital, its team, our patients, and our community nothing but continued growth and success.

🦷🐾 A Healthy Smile Starts With Care!

Today, Dallana was hard at work assisting with a dental cleaning for one of our patients. Unfortunately, due to advanced dental disease, six teeth needed to be extracted.

Dental health is about so much more than fresh breath! ❤️ Poor dental health can cause pain and discomfort and may contribute to other health concerns. The good news? Routine dental exams and preventive care can make a BIG difference.

Don’t wait until your pet shows signs of discomfort—because pets can be very good at hiding dental pain.

🚨 Chocolate is NOT a treat for dogs! 🍫🐶

This sweet pup came to us after getting into chocolate brownies and cookies. Because chocolate can be toxic to dogs, our medical team safely induced vomiting to help remove as much of the chocolate as possible before it could be absorbed.

A huge shoutout to Laly for jumping into action and helping care for this patient every step of the way! 💙

If your pet ever eats chocolate, don’t wait for symptoms to appear. Contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary hospital immediately. The sooner treatment begins, the better the outcome.

🐾 Quick reminder: Keep brownies, cookies, candy, and other chocolate treats well out of reach of curious noses!
