Ella (8 years old, 7 lbs) may be partially blind, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. This sweet little girl gets around wonderfully and is learning more confidence every day. She can be very shy at first and needs a patient, gentle person who will give her time to feel safe and comfortable.

Once she trusts you, Ella absolutely loves being held, cuddled, and petted. She has the sweetest soul and just wants to be close to her person. She may be hesitant about being picked up initially, but with kindness and patience, her loving personality shines through beautifully.

Ella is also doing very well with potty training, though she still has an occasional accident here and there. Overall, she’s making great progress and trying so hard.

Meet Merle Haggard 🤠🐾

This little country boy has a lot to say — especially if there’s a cat involved. 😂 Merle is currently taking classes in “Indoor Voices 101” and learning that the whole neighborhood doesn’t need to hear his opinions from inside the house.

He’s a very skittish little guy, but not mean at all. Once he sees the other dogs doing something, he’s right there following along like the world’s tiniest furry backup dancer. ❤️ He’s learning the routine of going in and out with the pack and is working hard on housebreaking. He’ll also use a potty pad like a gentleman.

As for cats? He acts like they personally owe him money. Lots of barking, zero chasing, and absolutely no hurting them. Just dramatic commentary from a safe distance. 😅
