🐾❤️ HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY… FROM EIGHT LITTLE DOGS-IN-TRAINING! ❤️🐾

Today we’re celebrating the dogs who make us laugh, comfort us when we’re hurting, greet us like we’ve been gone for six years instead of six minutes, and somehow make a house feel more like home.

And here at Sandcastle, we’re watching eight brand-new love stories just beginning. 🥰

Our Sweet Indulgence babies are FOUR weeks old, and somebody apparently flipped the PUPPY switch! 😂

This week they graduated from their whelping pen into their next-stage play area, discovered their first delicious mixture of puppy formula and puppy food, and, most hilariously, discovered…

EACH OTHER! 🤣🐾

The wrestling, pouncing, tumbling and sibling shenanigans have officially begun!

But while we’re laughing, something important is happening.

These little brains are developing at lightning speed. Our babies are handled, loved and cuddled every day. We encourage eye contact and loving interaction with humans so they begin learning very early that people are safe, wonderful and worth connecting with.

At six weeks, another big Sandcastle milestone begins: crate training, giving their future families a wonderful head start on life together.

And perhaps that’s what makes these four-week photos especially meaningful on National Dog Day.

Every magnificent grown dog being celebrated today was once somebody’s tiny puppy.

Someday, one of these little Sweet Indulgences may be the dog who waits at the window for someone to come home, curls up beside them when they’ve had a difficult day, makes an entire family laugh, or looks into one person’s eyes as though they’re the most important human being in the whole wide world.

Because to that dog…

they will be. ❤️

Today they’re eight wiggly, playful, chocolate-and-vanilla babies.

Someday they’ll be someone’s heart dog.

She’s bright, affectionate, people-oriented and eager to continue learning. Angel Pea has already received our Sandcastle basic training and is ready for someone to make her their very own little sidekick.

💙 Scooter —> Your Handsome Best Buddy

Scooter is a wonderful neutered male expected to mature around 30 pounds. He’s that terrific “just right” size: substantial enough for adventures, yet compact enough to curl up beside you at the end of the day. He is the perfect mix of Mr. Chill and “I love to cuddle!”

Scooter is intelligent, affectionate and trainable, with the people-focused temperament we treasure in our Australian Labradoodle lines. He has also received our Sandcastle basic training, giving his new family a tremendous head start.

🐾💕 TWO WEEKS OLD & THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO GET A WHOLE LOT BIGGER! 💕🐾

Our Sweet Indulgence Litter is TWO weeks old, and we’ve reached one of my favorite puppy milestones! 🥰

👀 All but one of these precious little indulgences have opened their eyes!

For their first two weeks, life has been pretty simple:
Momma. Milk. Warmth. Sleep. Repeat. 😂

But now those tiny eyes are opening, little brains are developing at lightning speed, and very soon comes one of the sweetest discoveries of all:

“WAIT!!! I’m not alone in this world!” 😳😂💗

There are brothers and sisters to climb over, snuggle with, nibble on and eventually PLAY with! And there are HUMANS out here who think puppy kisses might just be one of life’s greatest gifts. 🥰

For two more days, we’ll continue Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), the first tiny piece of the intentional development we provide our Sandcastle puppies from their earliest days.

Because at Sandcastle Labradoodles, we aren’t simply raising adorable puppies.

We are nurturing the wonderful temperament, confidence, resilience and human connection that make the authentic Australian Labradoodle such an extraordinary companion. ❤️

And oh, how much life changes when you love one.

Murfy’s Legacy lives on… the Sweet Indulgence chocolates. This sweet litter is especially meaningful to us as it represents one of Murfy’s final gifts to the Sandcastle legacy before beginning his well-earned retirement in sunny Florida. We couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful puppies and joy he has brought to so many families. Happy retirement, Murfy! We know you’ll be just as amazing at being a cherished family companion as you were at being an incredible dad. 🥰💗💕🐾🐾🤗🤗🤗

🍫🐾 Introducing Sandcastle Labradoodles’ Sweet Indulgence Litter! 🐾🍫

On July 24, 2026, our beautiful Marmee welcomed eight irresistible bundles of sweetness from Murfy’s final Sandcastle litter. This delicious litter includes six rich chocolate puppies and two creamy vanilla puppies, each one as unique and precious as the finest chocolates in a gourmet box.

One special feature they all share is their daddy’s signature white beard. Some wear it proudly, while others have just the faintest little hint of white. Each puppy inherited Murfy’s trademark look in its own unique way.

Meet our little sweethearts…

🤎 Godiva (“Diva”) is our petite chocolate princess. She wears four white socks, a lovely white blaze on her chest, and a beautiful version of Daddy’s signature white beard.

🤎 Truffle is a medium sized beauty who is almost completely chocolate, with a delicate white necktie and the softest hint of Murfy’s white beard.

🤎 Toffee is a small chocolate gentleman with two white hind paws and two charming white pendants, one on his neck and one on his upper chest.

🤎 BonBon is another little chocolate gentleman wearing white hind feet, white tipped front toes, and a long, elegant white necktie.

🤎 Toblerone (“Toby”) is a medium sized chocolate boy with two white hind paws, white tipped front toes, and a handsome white blaze running down his neck and chest.

🤎 S’more is our larger medium sized chocolate sweetheart, sporting one and a half white hind paws, white tipped front toes, a long white blaze, and an adorable white tipped tail.

🤍 Vanilla Bean (“Nilla Bean”) is our petite solid blonde boy with a soft touch of Murfy’s signature white beard.

🤍 Marshmallow (“Mallow”) is our larger medium sized blonde boy, proudly wearing a white diamond on top of his head, along with touches of white on his paws, the tip of his tail, and hints of Daddy’s white beard.

Like a box of gourmet chocolates, every puppy has a personality all its own, and we cannot wait to watch these little sweet treats grow into the extraordinary authentic Australian Labradoodles they are destined to become.

As Forrest Gump famously said, “Life is like a box of chocolates…” We are pretty sure this is the sweetest box ever!
