Based on a cancellation of a horse that was due to come in for training in winter, I will have a training spot available. Of course I LOVE training, but my primary goal is to get riders communicating better with their horses. So although I call this a "training spot", most of my students are actually lesson packages with the benefit of a trainer that can also hop in!
What could this look like? Most our riders like to do 2-3 lessons a week, then ride with friends on the weekend.
What is training like? I compete in Working Equitation and teach from a French Classical Dressage method.
We have a wonderful barn family that is welcoming to any and all. Our clients range from beginner to experienced with no judgement on where you are in your journey with your horse.

I did something pretty fun while we had the fabulous Kim Roe at our barn for a clinic... I worked on riding one handed. Funny thing for a dressage rider, but required for Working Equitation at Advanced and Masters. Spot was my main squeeze before I retired him down the levels. He's highly educated, so he has no problem with communication coming from my seat with way less input from my hands. In fact, I'm betting he preferred it! 🤣

I have a rare opening for a new client to bring their horse in for boarding and training. "Training package" can be all lessons, all training sessions, or a mix of both! Currently we have all boarding options. Stall with run, box stall with turnout, and outdoor living with a shed and paddock. EDIT to add: Right now I have room for one new client interested in doing 8 contacts a month. That usually comes out to 2 lessons or training rides a week. This works really well for someone that frequently rides in there own, but wants to keep advancing their training!

Training focus is based in French classical dressage and we love to show Working Equitation! USDF Bronze. USAWE Bronze and Silver. I train with Pippa Callanan year round and host her clinics here 3 times a year.

Our huge facility boasts a large indoor arena, huge outdoor arena with jumps and obstacles and trails on site.

Our barn family is wonderful! Kind, supportive, and always celebrating each other's success.

I love these posts! Keeping it real. Training isn't all glamour. Sometimes it's just helping horses and riders get that left shoulder to do good and not evil.

One more spot available for Saturday 8/8 at 10am-Noon for our WE obstacle clinic! $65 per rider. Groups are 3-4 people.

Come ride a full course of obstacles with coaching in a friendly environment.
