Rescue is not a "service". We are not obligated to do it. We are volunteers, not paid employees. You are not doing us a "favor" by adopting one of the animals we rescued and rehabilitated, we are entrusting you to take care of that animal that we have cared for and loved and we thank you ♡

Please don't make demands, we take time away from our families, our animals, our paid jobs, our lives, ALL THE TIME, to do what we are so passionate about.

Our families complain. Sometimes our responsibilities are not prioritized. Please be patient. We wish we could respond to you faster. Rescue is not only about passion, but time and money. How do you think the animals get to the vet? To adoption events? Who do you think feeds them, buys their food, products, toys, and bathes them, cleans up after them, cares for them and shows them affection? Who has sleepless nights while caring for the sick, then start the day all over again?

How do you think we pay for vet care? Please don't balk at an adoption donation when we put our ALL into these animals, making sure they are healthy, and doing our best to find them a forever home, such as yours. Don't try to guilt us into doing more. We are NOT responsible for everyone else's messes. We already do more than we can or should, trust me. After all, we are human, just like you, trying to do the best we can, with lives and bills and problems just like everyone else. Work with us. Help us when you can. Trying this again....
We are closed to intake, coordinating, guiding, etc until further notice.
I'm truly sorry for those that will go without help.
Please do not tag or send me pictures of cats and kittens in need, because it kills me... We are approaching the end of September, and once again, the things I need to have done before winter are not even started. These things must be completed. Please understand.
You can be their hero. You can be the someone! I know you have it in you and I know you'll find a way to help them when they need it the most.
Winter is coming. Prepare to care for them in place. Start now getting winter habits, feeding schedules. Outdoor shelters, places for them to go when the weather is terrible, they are predicting large amounts of snow, have that in mind when you're making these preparations, have a backup plan. If your Colony is a long distance from you, find someone closer that may be able to reach them if there's adverse weather, prepare for the worst, and then hope for the best. It's what will work for everyone involved, especially the cats depending on you for the food that keeps them alive, for the shelters that keep them warm. Now is the time! Do not hesitate if you are feeding on a property that's not yours, keep in mind that every single year right before winter, those places suddenly have a problem with the people feeding the cats. This is the time of year when suddenly they 're not wanted there and the outdoor shelters are destroyed. Have conversations with property owners now. So that in the middle of a winter storm, someone's not there heartlessly destroying the only shelters that they have to survive.
