RDPR Crossing the Rubicon really came into his own this weekend. 2/3 shows he got BOSB out of 70+ Dutch. Some extremely nice convention bound rabbits. Two very different judges as well. His brother did well at the Puyallup Fair. Two weeks later he has grown into himself. Still very young, but this little man will be at convention. So will his brother. Really putting into place all of the Dutch who will be going.

His name is Pig Pen. This is his house. This is his face. He is mad that the rabbit version of “Hoarders” is coming through to burn down his 8 weeks of work. He reminds me that “winter is coming” and in the long dark cold of winter he will make his space to his liking once again.

I am so proud and honored to have Silver Oaks Skullcrusher come to the Rabbitry. Ok…tell me he is a buck without telling me he is a buck. Yes he is a sunburnt p*e drenched happy man. Orange-ear lilacs are my COD dream. Kidding. Here he is pre and post groom. He is clearly molting and you can’t grow new fur without blowing out the old. He wasn’t hurt in his brushing and purred and groomed me as we pulled out his nasty buck coat. His main purpose is breeding, but I promised Silver Oaks Rabbitry if I can get him back into coat he’s goin back in the show table. That’s at this time Fall…maybe.
