🐾💙 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 💙🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible Patient Care Representatives who make such a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and our team!

From monitoring anesthesia and administering medications to comforting nervous pets, educating clients, and providing extra snuggles when they’re needed most, our PCRs do so much behind the scenes to keep our patients happy, healthy, and safe. 🩺🐶🐱

Veterinary technicians and assistants are the heart of veterinary medicine. Their compassion, knowledge, dedication, and hard work make a difference every single day, and we are so grateful for everything they do!

Join us in celebrating and thanking our amazing veterinary teams this week! We couldn’t do it without you. 💙🐾

Meet Tallulah Mae Wigglebottom! 🐾

Tallulah, or Tully for short, is a 6-month-old Lab mix and a very lucky girl because her mom is a professional trainer !

Tully’s mom has been working with her on cooperative care cues to help make things like blood draws and other veterinary procedures less scary. The goal is to help Tully feel confident during her vet visits, rather than stressed or anxious. 🩺

We love working with pet parents to help make veterinary visits a positive experience! After we drew Tully’s blood, Dr. Erynn made sure to reward her with some treats and a little playtime. 💕

Dr. Erynn’s hope? That Tully will always have a good experience—and that she and Tully can be friends for life! 🥰

Starting positive veterinary experiences early can make a big difference. Cooperative care training is a wonderful tool to help our pets feel more comfortable with the care they need throughout their lives.

Every life stage comes with different health risks — and age-specific bloodwork is one of the most powerful tools we have to catch issues before they become serious.

From puppies getting their first baseline screen to seniors needing regular monitoring, the right bloodwork at the right time makes all the difference. 💛
