She recently came to see us after developing a cough and some phlegm. After a thorough examination, Dr. Williams diagnosed her with bronchopneumonia and got her started on antibiotics to help her get back to feeling her best.

We’re so happy we could be there for Denali and her family. We’ll be cheering her on as she gets better! 🐶

If your pet is feeling unwell or you have any health concerns, our team is here for you. Give us a call—we’re always happy to care for your furry family members! 💙

🐾 Is your pet feeling itchy? 🐾

If your pup is constantly scratching, licking, or chewing, there could be an underlying cause! Itchiness can be caused by allergies, fleas, insect reactions, and more.

Sweet Cienna came to us with redness, hair loss, and scabs from chewing. She was checked for fleas, but none were found. Since her symptoms looked similar to a flea reaction, Dr. Katz suspected she may be reacting to certain insects.

Cienna was treated with oral medication to help calm the itching and will return in a few weeks for an allergy injection. 💕🐶

If your pet is experiencing persistent itching or similar symptoms, come see us so we can help get them feeling their best! 🩺

🐾 Hot pavement can burn your pet’s paws faster than you might think! Before heading out for a walk, remember the 5-second rule: Place the back of your hand on the pavement. If you can’t keep it there for at least 5 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.

☀️Follow these safety tips to protect your pet☀️

Don’t worry if you’re bringing your pet in for an appointment! A short walk from your car to our front door is generally safe for most pets. The biggest concern is prolonged walks or exercise on hot surfaces (even artificial turf can become just as hot as asphalt). 🌱

Every second counts when a pet goes missing.🐾

The best chance of a happy reunion starts before your pet is ever lost. Making sure your pet’s microchip information is up to date, keeping a well-fitting ID tag on their collar, and having recent photos on hand can make all the difference.

National Lost Pet Prevention Month is a great reminder to take a few minutes to prepare for the unexpected.
