After a lot of thought, Iā€™ve made the difficult decision to step away from breeding Velveteen Lops for the time being. This was no easy decision considering the amazing 7 years Iā€™ve spent with these animals, the countless friends Iā€™ve made within the community, and the passion for agriculture theyā€™ve helped me share with youth.
My heart just simply isnā€™t in the hobby anymore. College keeps me very busy and stressed 90% of the time, and I still have so much more to go.
I WILL return one day, thereā€™s no doubt in my mind about that. But for right now this is the absolute best decision I can make for my sweet buns.
Thank you all for the countless memories and for having such a huge impact on this breed. Itā€™s unfortunate timing considering we may actually become a recognized breed this month, but regardless, I wish everyone a VERY successful 3rd presentation!! ā¤ļø
***Special thank you to Hannah Nicholson, with Northwood lops, for being the reason I got started and blessing me with my sweet Dolly so long ago.

Who would yall take home off initial profile? Iā€™m always so torn on what to do šŸ˜‚ they are father and son. The son seems to have much better fur then dad (despite the molt) but time will tell. Dad developed pretty course fur a few months after I got him.
