I have a veterinarian/surgical room that is fully equipped for spay and neuter surgeries but no vet 😞

I’m looking for a vet that can come in at their convenience whether it be once a month, once a week, twice a week or every day to do low cost spays and neuters. This is a paid position.

Bobby wasn’t expected to live long. He was going to be euthanized right before I saved him. He has hydrocephalus, spina bifida and scoliosis.

When I got him he couldn’t lift his head. It was too big for his little neck and his motor skills were almost non existing. He had a hard time walking.

So most people would’ve felt pity for Bobby and just do everything for him. Well he’s an American bully and I know how very intense this breed is so we did our own physical therapy by making him do everything on his own. He had to start lifting his head to build a neck muscle to hold it up. He had to be encourage to walk around the house with the other dogs. He had to learn what stairs were and how they can be a danger for disabled dogs whose motor skills are off…he had to become independent on himself without me.

Yes, this part of rescue kills me. Doing for animals what they need, not my selfish wants by picking him up and doing everything for him. That’s the easy way, and I don’t do anything the easy way. Lol.

Nothing comes easy to Bobby. He has to try harder than most. Even in this video you can see he stumbles while running. With the hydrocephalus, he is delayed at times but he thinks he can do it all and that he’s not disabled. That’s what happens when you don’t treat him like he is unable.

The disabled animals is where my heart is at 🥰

I believed in Bobby. I pushed him. Because I know what a dog is capable of. They aren’t like humans. They are better. They inspire me to be better. Do better.

Bobby shows me with each day that anything is possible ❤️

If there’s anything that Bobby loves more than me, it’s getting off the bus and running to the house. He loves his home 😆🥰

Latte is on the smaller size. Maybe 45ish pounds. He’s a very calm guy looking for a calm home that will love him for all that he is.

He came in with trauma. Like most of us go through life right?! We’ve all had done sort of traumatizing experience that’s contributed to who we are. Well Latte witnessed the death of his owner, was whisked away by a catch pole and taken to animal control where he sat in a cage petrified. I ended up taking in the whole family of traumatized dogs because, well, those have my heart even though I can’t seem to find adopters for them. Unfortunately I can’t save any more until I get them adopted.

Latte is a sensitive guy who loves other dogs more than life itself. He will play and play with dogs until he’s exhausted. His trauma causes him to coward in corners when he is scared but he’s easily coaxed out. He just needs a person to love him through this. There’s got to be someone out there that would love a scared cat until he feels safe 🥰

This dog loves life and all people. We have dog walkers and kids that come after school to walk him and he does amazing! He loves to play with other dogs and likes cats too. He’s low energy and will go very well in any household. He literally just wants to be loved 🥰

Our sweet and calm honey.

We are not sure on the breeds of Honey but she is so incredibly sweet and walks so well on a leash. She doesn’t need slot of exercise and just wants a doggie bed to sleep on in her forever home.

Adult dogs stay in rescue for a long time. Everyone wants puppies. It just breaks my heart seeing her sit here for months without a home to call her own. Unfortunately I can’t rescue anymore when I have dogs that have been sitting here for 4-5 months not getting adopted. If I can get Honey and her three other housemates adopted, I can start saving more.

It’s sad watching them sit here confused with no home but I just know her forever home is out there somewhere…a lot of heroes don’t wear capes 😍

Bea is a 12 week old husky mix puppy who is smart as a whip. This boy already knows sit at a drop of a dime and walks beautifully on a leash. He loves all people and all other animals but know your breeds. I always say, the naughtier the dog, the smarter the dog. It makes me chuckle when people are like “my dog is so dumb and driving me crazy with its unwanted behaviors. In animal terms, the dog is outsmarting the human, and I’m here for it 😆

Huskies are some of the most intelligent breeds of dogs, it’s just most people can’t handle them. They are the most independent thinking dogs I’ve ever met.

I personally have a husky mix that I raised. I can teach him anything once and he understands it. His favorite is when I get my finger gum out and shoot him dead. He falls to the ground and plays dead. Lol.

Husky’s are like pit bulls to me. Super misunderstood and bred WAY too much.

These guys need exercise. Bee is a lab/husky mix so not as high energy as a husky and has some lab tendencies as well. Very sweet and playful, Bee is a great puppy 🐶
