Reptopia Reptiles, Supplies, and Reptile Rescue - (503) 999-9665 Reptopia is a reptile and supply pet store located in Albany, Oregon.

I started out by selling reptile supplies online to fund my non-profit reptile rescue (www.BeautifulDragons.com) that I started in 1999. I decided to open a store in our town to not only offer reptile supplies, but to also give reptile advice, offer reptile services (f***l testing), and to help find good homes for the rescued reptiles. I also support some of the local reptile breeders in our area and you will often find reptiles for sale in the store from these breeders.

Are there any local rodent breeders in our area that have some extra stock to sell? Specifically we're looking for live hopper mice and adult mice, small, medium and large live rats. We don't need any frozen at this time but if anyone has any live feeder rodents that they would like to sell please call or text our shop. We will be closed Sunday and Monday. Thank you. There's a huge need for good homes for surrendered reptiles. We get more calls for bearded dragon, leopard gecko, and ball python surrenders than we can physically take in. We literally run out of space. So I had an idea...

As a way to help the reptiles in need, we are inviting all of our amazing LOCAL customers to be part of this free program.

How would this work, you ask? Say we get a call for a bearded dragon surrender that we do not have room for. We will go down our list of people wanting a bearded dragon, then we would put the person surrendering the reptile in direct contact with you via whichever means you prefer... text message, call, or email. We will not be able to physically look the animal over to make sure it is healthy. This would be your decision. And you can always turn down the surrender. However turning down a surrender will then move you down to the bottom of the list.

If anyone is interested, please come into the shop and chat with us. We will not do this over the phone. We will ask you basic care questions to make sure you have the knowledge required to take care of the type of reptile you are seeking. We do not require you to have a setup ready because in most cases surrendered reptiles often come with a setup.

Requirements to join this program:
**You must be at least 18 years old.
**You must have care knowledge of the reptile(s) you are wanting to take in.
**Reptiles available for this program are bearded dragons, ball pythons and leopard geckos. Specific morphs or colorations of these reptiles are not permitted. If you're just looking for a free high-end reptile, like a blue eyed lucy ball python, or a red bearded dragon, this is not the way to go.
**Reptiles received from this program may not be used for breeding or sold for profit.
