I started out by selling reptile supplies online to fund my non-profit reptile rescue (www.BeautifulDragons.com) that I started in 1999. I decided to open a store in our town to not only offer reptile supplies, but to also give reptile advice, offer reptile services (f***l testing), and to help find good homes for the rescued reptiles. I also support some of the local reptile breeders in our area and you will often find reptiles for sale in the store from these breeders.

New Isopods in stock! Cheaper than you can find online! Panda Kings, Papaya, Milk Backs and Rubber Duckies. The Panda Kings are adorable and look similar to Rubber Duckies, but much easier to keep them happy and breeding. The Milk Backs are similar looking to the Dairy Cows. And the Papayas have this adorable peach color. We also have Rubber Duckies available that we have finally been able to breed.

Whether you buy a bearded dragon or snake from us or somewhere else, we want to help arm you with a few questions that you should be asking before purchasing a bearded dragon or snake from a pet store or a reptile expo. Especially reptile expos!

1. Always ask how they are cleaning their bearded dragon tanks. If they don't use scalding hot steam over 165° to disinfect their terrariums that's a major red flag. This should be a basic practice at every reptile store and with every breeder because this is one of the only ways to effectively kill coccidia. Ammonia can also be used but it is a very harsh chemical. Bleach and F10 and most commercial cleaning chemicals will not kill coccidia.

2. Do they quarantine their snakes/put them through a de-miting treatment on arrival to their store? If the big box chain stores did this it would effectively eliminate most of the snake mites and the snakes would be so much healthier. Doing this literally takes 15 minutes. We treat every snake coming through our door as if it has mites and they all get a safe mite treatment. And yes, you should be doing this with any snake you bring home because most sellers can't be trusted to do this.

We have another snake breeding rack for sale by AP Cages. It's a 6-tub unit, heat tape under each tub, all thermostatically controlled by a single unit. Everything works great. New price on this AP Cage breeder rack is $550 plus $95 in shipping. We're asking $250. We currently have this rack at our house, so if you'd like to come see it please call the store and arrange a time to come look at it.

Breed snakes? We have a very rare opportunity to sell a Freedom Breeder Snake Breeding Rack that is like new! This size would be perfect for breeding Ball Pythons. The person who bought it only used it for a year. It's all clean, and everything works.

Dimensions:
Full rack: 55 1/2″(W) x 33 1/2″(D) x 72 5/8″(H)
Tubs (FB70): 33 1/2″(L) x 17 1/2″(W) x 5 3/10″(H)

Details:
This unit has a Freedom Breeder thermostat to control all 30 tubs. Heat tape under each tub. Everything is plugged into a single electrical strip to make things tidy and easy to access. This thing was very well made and heavy! It's not a cheap plastic unit.

The tubs are gray with a water reservoir built in so the snakes can't tip it over. The water reservoirs hold a 16 oz deli container if you prefer to use containers for easy water changes. We are also throwing in 17 extra Freedom Breeder clear tubs (same size). These extra tubs make it nice for when you have to clean tubs you have spare clean ones. Or you can trade out the gray ones with some of the clear ones if you prefer to see your snakes.

LOOK at this sweet face! This female bearded dragon was surrendered to us. She's at least 5 years old but most likely older. Has cataracts in her left eye and is still able to see well enough to eat but definitely can't chase crickets. She loves her greens and we're just looking for a good home for her. Reduced adoption fee because she is older. Please come in for details. Looking for a knowledgeable home with proper setup. She's super sweet.

We visited the Oregon Coast Aquarium to visit the new Dart Frog/Amazon Rainforest exhibits. We helped supply the Aquarium with 60 Dart Frogs for their new exhibits. Their Dart frog terrariums are absolutely amazing. Then we were given a behind the scenes tour and fed the sharks! What a great day! Highly recommend visiting the Aquarium in Newport and seeing all their new exhibits!
