🐾 June is Pet Anxiety Awareness Month 🐾

Just like people, pets can experience anxiety. While some signs are obvious, others can be easy to miss.

A few common types of pet anxiety include (but are not limited to):
🐶 Separation anxiety
🎆 Noise anxiety (fireworks, thunderstorms)
🚗 Travel anxiety

Signs your pet may be struggling with anxiety:
• Excessive barking or vocalization
• Pacing or restlessness
• Trembling or hiding
• Destructive behavior
• Excessive licking or grooming
• Changes in appetite
• Accidents in the house

With summer celebrations and fireworks season approaching, now is a great time to think ahead if your pet has a history of anxiety. Early planning can help make stressful situations much more manageable.

If you're concerned about your pet's behavior or would like to discuss ways to help them feel more comfortable, our team is here to help.

❤️ A calmer pet is often a happier, healthier pet.
