💔 Wanda and her little daughter Winky need your support 🥹
Wanda, a gentle and loving mother dog, was most likely abandoned shortly before giving birth. She and her baby Winky were found at a villager’s home. Two of Wanda’s other puppies are still being cared for and fed by the kind homeowner who reported the case.
But for tiny Winky, the fight for survival began far too early. At only 1.5 months old, she was brutally attacked by adult dogs and suffered multiple severe bite wounds. The worst injury was to her abdomen — fat tissue was protruding from the open wound, and the injury had already become infected. Thankfully, her intestines remained intact.
Winky was rushed into emergency surgery immediately. She is now receiving antibiotics, pain medication, vitamins, and supportive care to help her little body heal. Despite everything she has endured, she continues to fight bravely. 💛
The most beautiful moment after surgery was seeing Winky reunited with her mother. Since then, Wanda has not left her baby’s side. Her presence gives Winky comfort, strength, and emotional support during recovery.
Wanda has now also been taken into our care and safely spayed, so she will never again have to suffer through the endless cycle of abandonment, pregnancy, and survival on the streets.
These two souls need our help now more than ever. Their surgeries, medications, treatment, and daily care come with high medical costs.
