Flooding Update
Thankfully, the roads around Green Tails are slowly drying and the floodwater is receding. However, the situation in other areas remains uncertain, and I am following the latest updates through the news.
Food supplies are still difficult to obtain, and prices have risen significantly. Chicken that normally costs around 110 THB/kg is now 110 THB for just 500g — almost twice the normal price.
Our dogs need about 1.5 kg of chicken every day, so the 3 kg we managed to buy is only enough for two days. With broccoli and vegetables, this cost 1,400 THB (about ¥6,500 / US$42) for just two days of food.
Yesterday, after four days, we finally managed to take the dogs for a walk. Unfortunately, heavy rain returned during the second group’s walk, so we had to stop.
The heavy rain also caused part of our ceiling to collapse while we were waiting for an emergency engineer. Thankfully, no one was injured. The damaged roof has now been temporarily sealed, and we are removing the water that collected inside.

幸い、Green Tails周辺では少しずつ道路が乾き始め、浸水した水も引いてきています。ただ、他の地域の状況についてはまだ不明な点も多く、ニュースなどを確認しながら状況を見守っています。
食料の調達は依然として難しく、価格も大幅に上がっています。通常1kg約110THBの鶏肉が、今回は500gで110THB。通常の約2倍です。
犬たちは1日に約1.5kgの鶏肉を必要とするため、今回なんとか購入できた3kgは、わずか2日分です。それでもブロッコリーや野菜などを含め、たった2日分の食料に1,400THB（約6,500円／42米ドル）もかかりました。
昨日は、4日ぶりにようやく犬たちをお散歩に連れて行くことができました。しかし、2組目のお散歩中に再び激しい雨が降り始め、途中で中止することになりました。
また、激しい雨の影響で、緊急のエンジニアを待っている間に天井の一部が落下しました。幸い、誰も怪我をすることはありませんでした。現在は屋根の損傷部分を応急処置してもらい、内部に溜まった水を排出しています。
