We suspect they both have congenital conditions and we will monitor them until they are old enough to have more diagnosis tests done. This is unfortunately a common problem when inbreeding occurs amongst stray cats.

We are hoping to invest in a specialist cage to help us safely handle the feral and anxious cats we regularly have in our care. Our volunteers are bitten on a regular basis and this would help us keep them and the scared cats safe.

A restrainer cage or crush cage is a specialized tool used to safely handle aggressive, feral, or highly anxious cats. It features a movable internal partition that gently presses the cat against the wall, immobilizing them to safely administer injections, flea and worming treatments or perform quick examinations.
