FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE
We are looking for friendly, reliable, hardworking person to es**rt rides and instruct all ages and abilities of clients on our moorland hacks. And also work on yard, undertaking all aspects of yard work caring for all our lovely horses and ponies.
✅ Must be over 16
✅ Must be an experienced confident rider
✅ Is a 5 day week to include a day a weekend 8am start - 5pm approx
✅ All riding is on Dartmoor in variety of weathers.. Lots of v nice sunny days but also several not sunny... wet and windy days 🙈🙈
✅ Must be comfortable and confident speaking to huge range of clients.. we have lots of regular riders who love a weekly chat/gossip and lots of people on holiday where you need to be more of a local tour guide!
✅ Must be happy to just toodle round with novice riders and be encouraging to children and nervous riders but we also have a lot of experienced riders so plenty of faster rides on moor.
✅ Lots of lovely horses and ponies but also means lots of mucking out, feeding and rug changes etc that comes with having lots of horses and ponies
✅ Must be friendly hardworking, conscientious and happy to work along side our wonderful team of staff but also have initiative to work alone with proactive attitude
✅ Pay to match experience and work ethic
✅Lovely onsite accomodation available with super view of Dartmoor

Happy Father's Day and it's the summer solstice 😎😎 We have a lovely day riding up on the moor and been great to see so many dads being treated to a ride with their family or kids 😁😄 but we also all know too well it is also a very sad dad for so many who no longer have their dads with them 😕 It has been a beautiful day with lots of sun and a lovely breeze and there was🤓stunning sunset to round it all off 😎

We have some very sad news 😢 We had to say goodbye to the wonderful Mercury this week. As many of you knew she hadnt been right the last month or so but she was still very well in herself and never off her food and still so alert so we tried so hard with the wonderful guys at Equus vets and few others but couldn't quite find what exactly up. But she declined suddenly on Wednesday so knew was time to say goodbye to the kindest sweet pony. 😢
She was bred from our herd of ponies on the moor so we knew her all her life and although a very cheeky shetland in the beginning when broke her in, she soon grew into the most wonderful kids pony.. giving so many children there first experience of sitting on a pony or grooming her or just cuddling her..
She was still so young at heart and loved going on her little pony rides or being groomed so never expected her to be gone so soon.
She was one in a million and we will all miss her terribly 😢🌈😢🌈😢🌈 RIP sweet girl ❤️❤️
