Looking for something exciting for the children to do this half term? We have lots happening at Silverstone Riding School, with opportunities for riders of all abilities to get involved! 🐎

• Opportunities to spend more time with the ponies and build confidence

Whether your child is an experienced rider or just loves ponies, there’s something for everyone!

🐴 NEW PONY LOAN OPPORTUNITIES

We also have a small number of ponies becoming available for onsite loan.

Loaning gives riders the opportunity to have their own pony to care for, ride and build a real partnership with, while still having the support of Silverstone Riding School.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for children who are ready to take the next step from riding lessons and would love more responsibility and involvement with a pony. ❤️

We have ponies suitable for different ages, abilities and riding experience, and we will help match each rider with the right pony.

This is such a difficult goodbye

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to say goodbye to our beautiful Manny.

Manny went down with colic yesterday morning. The vets did everything they could for him, but sadly he developed peritonitis as a result of a blockage. Despite everyone’s efforts, we had to let him go peacefully.

After 17 wonderful years together, Manny leaves behind a lifetime of memories, adventures and immeasurable love.

Manny was the most amazing pony to everyone who knew him. He had such a special personality and a gentle, patient nature that made him unforgettable. He was never simply a pony; he was a much-loved member of our family and a huge part of our lives.

For 17 years, he was there through so many chapters, teaching, carrying, comforting and making us laugh along the way. He touched the lives of so many people and leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, trust and treasured memories.

Manny gave us his trust, his patience and his kind nature, and in return he was loved beyond words. Seventeen years is a very long time to share your life with a pony, which makes saying goodbye all the harder.

We will miss his face, his character, his little ways and simply having him there. The world feels a little emptier without him, but our lives are richer for having loved him.

Thank you, Manny, for 17 incredible years.
You were loved every single day, and you always will be.

New Term Lessons 🐴

Our new term lesson timetable is now available! We have lots of options for all ages and abilities. ❤️

Monday
• 1-1 lessons with Caitlin

Tuesday
• 1-1 lessons with Caitlin — 4pm–8pm
• Group lessons with Emma — 4.30pm–8pm

Wednesday
• Group lessons, 1-1 lessons & Pony Care and Ride “Pony Club” with Emma — 5pm–8.30pm

Thursday
• 1-1 lessons with Caitlin
• Adult group lessons — 4pm–8.30pm

Friday
• Group lessons with Emma — 4.30pm–7pm

Saturday
• A variety of lessons with Emma throughout the day

Weekday daytime ☀️
Sophie is available for 1-1 lessons during the day. These can be booked directly via WhatsApp.

Summer activities

The summer holidays are nearly here, and we’ve got lots of fun activities planned at Silverstone Riding School to keep everyone riding, learning and enjoying time with the horses!

🐴 Hacking
Enjoy a ride through the countryside with our supervised hacks. Suitable for all levels

🏇 Private Lessons
Perfect for improving confidence, learning new skills or working towards your riding goals with one-to-one tuition.

❤️ Own a Pony Days
Experience what it’s really like to own a pony for the day! Groom, tack up, ride, learn about stable management and spend the day caring for your pony.

🏆 Showjumping Sessions
Whether you’re looking to try jumping for the first time or improve your technique, our showjumping sessions are great fun and suitable for a range of abilities.

🌞🐴 Summer Holiday Pony Fun at Silverstone Riding School! 🐴🌞

School’s out soon… and the ponies are ready for two brilliant days of summer fun! Whether your young rider loves grooming, learning stable skills, or flying over jumps, we’ve got something perfect for them.

📅 Wednesday 22nd July – Own a Pony Day

✨ Own a Pony Morning (U to J3) — 10:00–12:00
Hands-on pony care, grooming, learning stable skills, plus a fun ridden session.

✨ Own a Pony Afternoon (J3 to J5) — 13:00–16:00
More time in the saddle, more stable management, and plenty of pony-filled summer magic.

📅 Thursday 23rd July – Jumping Day

💥 Jumping Morning (J3 to J4) — 10:00–12:00
A confidence-building jumping session for riders ready to improve their skills.

💥 Jumping Afternoon (J5 to J7) — 13:00–16:00
A more advanced jumping workshop for experienced riders who love a challenge.

🌟 Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended!
