Storm had a welfare groom recently clipping of hard to reach stubborn matts and a general de-fluff to keep her cooler through the coming months, her handsome brother over saw the whole thing, presumably finding it quite amusing as he is seen posing next to the fluff production 😆

He had his nails clipped too and was super brave😍🤩

Super cute Freddie with his super sized pile of fur 😍 This handsome gentleman had a “welfare groom” this morning to clip off some stubborn matts in order to relieve discomfort and maintain hygiene 🙂

It is not uncommon in older cats for matts to occur around their back end as sometimes they start to experience symptoms of arthritis, making grooming that area difficult.

With the matts off, Freddie is much easier to brush for his mum & will feel a lot better when prowling the garden ☺️🐾🐱

Beautiful kitties Bella & Jake had a visit recently to clip & clean some overgrown nails 💅

They have just had a follow up check, to check their little pads are healing nicely, which with daily cleaning they have healed beautifully!

And they are back to being their normal happy selves watching the world go by from the windowsill 😍👏🏻

When 2 become 3 😍🐰

With rabbit awareness week around the corner there’s no better time to tell you about Benji, maple & thumper 🥰

Benji & Maple were bonded around a year ago (you may remember that post ☺️! )

But they have always had their neighbour Thumper! Who finally gets to join in on the love!

The process went like clockwork! Thumper knew it was his chance to impress and now the trio are busy exploring their new rabbit mansion together😍🐰

Companionship is so important for rabbits as they are a social species! It is one of their welfare needs!
But there is a very specific process to heighten your chances of a successful bond and this cannot be rushed. Once bonded bunnies display behaviours of affection and support to eachother; grooming, flopping, snuggling eachother, as much as we love our bunnies, no one can love them like another bun 🐰🐰🐰

Here’s to many happy years as a spoilt trio 🥰
