Gabby the Garter snake had her babies today! 10 beautiful healthy babies!

We would like to state that as a rescue we NEVER breed the animals here and any eggs laid by rescues or residents are frozen to prevent development. There are thousands of reptiles in need of homes and we would never ever contribute to that. Gabby arrived to us after being cohabitated with Gage the male garter snake here and we separated them immediately but she arrived pregnant and they can retain s***m for a long time. Since they give birth to live young there was not much we could do but wait for them to be born!

They will all be staying here for a while to ensure they are all growing and developing as they should ❤️

We completely forgot to post that Kite was adopted a few weeks ago! Look at that happy face 🥹

Newest Intake! Meet Eli the 3yrs old, Spider Pied Royal Python. This little one struggles with head wobbles and minor corkscrewing. This unfortunately massively impacts his life making it difficult for him to eat (which is why he is so small for his age!) His previous caregiver did an excellent job trying to rehabilitate him but has passed him onto us to offer him some more specialist care ❤️
