This is a really useful course for rescue dogs!

Our Reactivity Workshop is designed to help you better understand your dog's behaviour, build practical handling skills, and develop strategies you can use in everyday life.

Do you want a challenge? How about a deep, intense love that you will have to work like hell to earn? Do you have lots of patience and a true desire to rescue? Meet Rupert!

This little oddball comes from Romania. He's around 2 years old and looks like some sort of corgi/retriever (think retriever with long body and stumpy little legs). It took roughly 4 weeks after he arrived before he could accept being touched. He is wonderful with dogs and cats, but would be best with respectful older children only due to his anxiety. As yet, Rupert does not like the lead so he only goes into our secure back garden for outdoors time. He's a very cuddly boy who has a deep bond with Kelly. There is no aggression in him but he will mouth when he gets excited - a firm 'no' stops this.

Rupert is such a cheeky boy. He gets very excited at dinner time, loves to play - especially tug - and loves a licky mat. He will now come for cuddles with anyone in our house, even the 9 year old! He has even started jumping up on Kelly's lap for a cuddle 🤗

Rupert is a project dog. If you want the perfect companion, he is not the dog for you. However if you want the absolute unbridled pleasure of seeing someone terrified open up to you, offering you a hard won trust and unconditional love, he could very well be the boy for you. He is a clear reminder of how important rescue work is - nobody would choose Rupert on a first meeting. He is unlikely to show his true character right away. His person is going to be someone special, someone who understands the rewards that can come from patience and perseverance. Please consider this before applying, as meet and greets will not be full of cuddles and confidence (although I can show you videos of how he is when he feels safe)

Due to the weather forecast for Monday, we have taken the decision to postpone the dog show event. It's way too hot for dogs to be out in that heat. Keep an eye out for the new date once we have confirmed all the details!

Come and join us at The Forest Inn in Ashurst on 25th May a charity dog show and help us raise much needed funds for the rescue whilst supporting a local pub and having a lovely afternoon out!

There will be plenty of shaded areas and water bowls for our furry friends to stay nice and cool 😎

In April, KS Angels Pet Bank helped feed 9 dogs and 3 cats.

We also set up a partnership with Grovely Pets Brockenhurst and they have a donation station in store for the Pet Bank.
