The Pets Foundation, registered as the Pets at Home Foundation charity numbers 1104152 & SC052589.

We passionately believe that every pet deserves a loving forever home. Over the years, we are proud to have worked alongside rescue, and rehoming organisations across the country who strive to help pets in need find their forever loving homes. In 2021, we broadened our objectives, allowing us to support charities that work alongside pets and the people who love them. We will strive to work alongside like-minded partners to help those people who benefit either through the addition of a pet or through time spent with them.

💚🐾 Mud, obstacles and plenty of determination! 🐾💚

A huge thank you to our Pets at Home and Vets for Pets colleagues, Ashleigh, Louise, Elisha, Ian, Dean, Vivien, Bibi, Marco and Josef, who took on the Manchester Tough Mudder on Sunday 11th October and raised an incredible £1,400+ for the Pets Foundation.

We're so proud of what you've achieved and the difference you're helping to make for pets in need.

💚 Meet Rocco! 🐶

Earlier this year, we awarded Staffie Smiles Rescue a £10,000 grant to help support the vital work they do rescuing and rehoming dogs in need.

Rocco was just nine months old when he arrived in their care. His previous owner was struggling to manage his energetic nature and felt unable to give him the support he needed.

Thanks to Staffie Smiles, Rocco received all the veterinary care he required, including a health check, neutering, microchipping, and flea and worm treatments. Once his assessments were complete, he was ready to begin the next chapter of his journey.

Today, Rocco is thriving in his forever home. With ongoing training, structure, and plenty of love, he has grown into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted dog. 💚

From fighting for survival to finding her forever home 😻

At the start of the year, we were proud to award a £2,980 grant to RSPCA Wyth Sir Branch to help fund cattery spaces for cats in need, supporting more than 20 cats on their journey to recovery and rehoming.

One of those cats was Rosie. After being found alone and severely underweight, Rosie arrived at the rescue in a critical condition and faced a long road to recovery. Thanks to the dedicated care of the rescue team and access to a safe cattery space, Rosie spent three months rebuilding her strength and confidence.

Today, Rosie is unrecognisable from the cat who first arrived in care. She has made a remarkable recovery and is now enjoying life in her loving forever home. 💚

Stories like Rosie's show the real impact that grants can have, giving vulnerable pets the time, care, and support they need to recover and find the happy future they deserve.

🐾 Meet Libby and Delly! 🐾

Last year, we awarded a £10,000 grant to Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders, helping them provide vital veterinary care to greyhounds in need, including Libby and Delly. 💚

💚 Libby arrived at the kennels needing significant dental treatment. Thanks to the care she received from a local vet, she made a fantastic recovery. Better still, she captured someone's heart at the charity's recent open day and has now been adopted into her forever home.

💚 Delly arrived with an undiagnosed tendon problem that required specialist surgery. Thankfully, his operation was a success, and after a period of recovery, he too has found a loving forever home.

Say hi to Lennie and Minnie 😻

These two mischievous and playful cuties were sadly abandoned by their mum and found hiding in undergrowth, where they were fortunately spotted and brought to safety in the care of Coventry Cat Group.

Underweight and suffering from hypothermia at just 5 weeks old, they were very lucky to be alive.

Thanks to our recent grant of £3,500, the charity has been able to purchase an additional kitten pen. This new space will provide Lennie and Minnie, and other vulnerable kittens in the charity's care, with a safe place to sleep, play and recover after neutering, as well as a sterile environment should they develop any infections.

Some dogs wait a long time for their happy ending. 🐶

Sweet Sierra and Raya have now found their forever home together after spending 489 days in the care of Hope Rescue 🏡

Rescued as part of a large welfare case involving dozens of dogs, they received the care and support they needed before beginning the next chapter of their lives.

A recent £27,260 grant awarded to Hope Rescue will contribute towards essential veterinary costs, utility bills and new laundry equipment, helping the charity continue its rescue and rehoming work for dogs in need.

Your donations help make grants like this possible. 💚🙏
