Time to test for tapeworm! 🪱
Autumn is here, which means it’s time to think about your horse’s tapeworm test.
Saliva testing can help identify which horses require treatment for tapeworm, reducing unnecessary use of wormers.
Tapeworm can be associated with an increased risk of certain types of colic, particularly when burdens are high, so regular testing is an important part of your horse’s parasite control programme.

Your autumn tapeworm saliva test is included! We’ll be sending test kits out during the first week of October, so please contact the practice to confirm you would like one.
