I am looking forward to doing a bit of exploring tomorrow, I want to have a closer look at the big dogs in a field in front of us. Watching from afar. I am very tired, gonna have a mid morning nap then gonna see what Aunty Teresa and Uncle Wayne has planned.

I’ve heard there’s an open day on the weekend and I hope there is someone who is planning on coming to see me? 😭

I made an exciting discovery on my walk, a ball 🥎

I squeaked it all the way and it was a good distraction from other doggos.. I even stopped for a little sit down and a chill with my ball by the logs bc it’s good to just sit and take the world in.

Frens this lil meatball had an absolute blast today 💥

Had such a brilliant time at the field of dreams frens. I made sure I sniffed ever inch of that field and my lil meatball legs did lots of zoomies, I felt so free. It’s so nice being off lead and away from pesky kennels.

Hopefully I’ll be going back soon bc I can’t stop smiling 😊

We would like to say a huge thank you to Lily, Josh, Jack and Max who have raised an incredible £122.26 for the pups 🐾

They organised their very own summer bake sale during the school holidays! They baked and sold some yummy cakes to their neighbours, in aid of helping the residents of Cardiff Dogs Home.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a photo with one of the pups, and little Salem was more than happy to have some cuddles 💛🐶

Pop down and see us at our next event, there will be face painting, dog fancy dress, spooky pupcakes, our wonderful merch and of course some of our fabulous residents. We love Halloween, some may say maybe more than Christmas shhh 🤫

We will be holding an open day at the home and we’d love if you could make it.

📍West Point Ind Est, Penarth Rd, CF11 8JQ
🗓️Saturday 24th October
⌚️12-4pm

The Open Day will be held at Cardiff Dogs Home, where the dogs will be brought out of their kennels to meet you. If you have seen a dog you would like to adopt, please can you bring with you a completed adoption application form. You can print this from the website here: https://www.cardiffdogshome.co.uk/give-a-dog-a-home/re-homing-registration/

Please do not bring your dogs with you, you will not be able to walk around the kennels.
