Very proud to share this new article about our breeding program at Desiderius Farms.

Five years ago, in 2021, our Selle Français miracle twins were featured by World Breeding News. Now, one of those twins — Halo DF — is part of the next chapter.

This article tells the story of how our breeding philosophy developed: from watching elite jumpers like Darry Lou, to studying the bloodlines behind them, to applying those lessons through what we now call Framework Linebreeding.

Our goal has never been to copy a great horse. It is to understand the structure behind greatness and use that knowledge to make more thoughtful breeding decisions.

We feel very blessed to be producing these horses in rural Manitoba, and very grateful to see our small program recognized internationally.

April, 2021 brought us a very rare and the most special gift ever in form of twin healthy foals birthed by Zena QV at our farm ❤️🙏
We welcomed our beautiful Halo and Trinity in this beautiful world.
Happy 5th birthday Halo and happy 5th heavenly birthday to Trinity (We will miss you forever our precious girl)

✅RMWF 2026 finished successfully 🫰❤️

Desiderius farms had a blast working with Tyndallwood farms for the week of RMWF. We shared lots of fun, laughter and beautiful moments. Thanks for all you have done Patty Alfonso
All 6 of our horses performed super well and we are very excited to see their future rise.
Halo DF and Austinite DF moved up to 1.10m height with clear rounds. They showed how powerful and game ready they are as the poles go up in height.
Amethyst DF has been amazing and powerful through out the week with solid rounds and placing in every class.
Quintender DF had very mature and beautiful rounds. As a four year old she has more than everything of can ask for.
Sapphire being a pro did her rounds very well making her rider super happy which lit a spark in their partnership.

We are all super excited for what the future holds for all of our horses. Thanks to our team and supporters for helping to achieve what we have so far.

Our special 4 years old mare (Montender X Quite easy I X Burggraaf) has stepped in the show ring. Easy and fast learner. Positive and beautiful personality with her hinds flying in the air over fences promises a very successful future ❤️
