Very proud to share this new article about our breeding program at Desiderius Farms.
Five years ago, in 2021, our Selle Français miracle twins were featured by World Breeding News. Now, one of those twins — Halo DF — is part of the next chapter.
This article tells the story of how our breeding philosophy developed: from watching elite jumpers like Darry Lou, to studying the bloodlines behind them, to applying those lessons through what we now call Framework Linebreeding.
Our goal has never been to copy a great horse. It is to understand the structure behind greatness and use that knowledge to make more thoughtful breeding decisions.
We feel very blessed to be producing these horses in rural Manitoba, and very grateful to see our small program recognized internationally.
