Allow me to introduce myself—I’m Falyn Zelinsky.
I’ve been working with horses for over 25 years, starting at the age of 7. My love for horses began early, taking lessons and working at multiple barns, always drawn to the shy, skittish, and spirited horses others overlooked.
At 13, I completed a wrangler course where I trained a young filly from the ground up. She went on to become one of the best trail horses the farm ever had. That experience ignited my passion for building trust with horses.
Before owning my first horse, I connected deeply with Hawk, a paint stallion known for being “wild.” The owner warned me that no one could do much with him—but with time, patience, and understanding, we bonded. One day, I tacked him up and rode him, leaving the owner speechless. That moment taught me that misunderstood horses don’t need to be “broken”—they need to be heard.
My first horse, Raven, has a kind soul and a strong will. To keep her company, we brought home a 6-month-old c**t, Onyx. I trained him from the ground up, and today, he’s a reliable ride for all levels.
Over the years, I’ve worked with horses facing behavioral challenges, tack issues, fear, and trust problems. Owners began coming to me for help, and I realized this was my calling. Some people call it horse whispering—but I think of it as *horse listening*.
My training philosophy is firm but fair. I won’t promise to “fix” every horse—but I will always do my best to help both horse and owner reconnect and thrive.
